Poor Instruction, Great Product

The instructions rely on pictures and extreme (and humorous) Chinglish.The can opener is functional and compact. It seems very well made and quite durable. Since I haven't used it yet, I can only assume that it will work as well as it looks. The magnet is very useful and a great idea. The can opener was well packed. Shipping was prompt and it arrived almost on time.I may have more to say once I've had more experience with it.

Really easy to open cans!

This is exactly what I’ve been looking for! I had a kitchenaid can opener before this and it was great for several years. It recently started dulling you the point of not opening cans well anymore so I set off to find a new one. I got this on a deal on prime day and I’m so happy I found it! It’s really sharp and opens cans effortlessly. The magnet on it catches the lid before it has a chance to even touch the food in the can. The handles are comfortable and when I’m making dinner and have a ton of cans of tomato products to open (spaghtetti!), my whole hand doesn’t get sore from working at it for so long. Remember.. my old can opener was really giving me trouble before this!! It was a really good purchase!

Excellent Deal on a Great Quality Can Opener

Purchases this one to replace another 'safety edge' opener which went dull (the one we had was near impossible to sharpen) and we could not be happier. The action is smooth and easy, it cuts through the can quickly and the magnet is a nice and very useful touch. It's pull tab lever is a good replacement for using a butter knife to get some of our pull-tab cat food cans open.. So far, not a single complaint and only good experiences with this well-made kitchen tool.

Works as it should for Four Years

This seems to be a well designed can opener, that works as it should. No rust after several months of use. Seemed a little flimsy when i first handled it, compared with our last worn out unit, but it cuts any sized can with almost no effort. So hopefully it lasts longer than five years, which was the life of the last unit!Update on 20JA25 - After just over 4 years, this can opener no longer functions and I moved my rating from 5 to 3 stars. The Crank Shaft to plastic Bushing and Cutter Wheel to its metal bushing both wear to a point where the cogged Turn Wheel no longer turns the can as you crank. I disassembled the unit and tried to tighten the clearances by various means, but was not successful in making it work again. Amazing how the manufacturer can make these things look robust, but then go cheap on the most important functional features. Perhaps they just don't know engineering design principles. So this one will get broken down and recycled, and I will try again with another brand.
