AN EXCELLENT BREAD SLICER

The slicing machine at my grocer keeps breaking down. They have and sell the best Italian, Portuguese, and all types of sourdough breads from bakeries in the large cities. I prefer the "Tuscan Fermenta" a large round similar to a italian table round loaf. For several weeks the slicer was down and was using a bread knife to make slices. I didn't want to buy a longer bread knife. as the 10 " I have wasn't long enough to get the proper sized slice.It is unusual these days to find a product that actually works the way it was intended. This is one of those products.Simple, designed well, and it works perfect. The slices are better than the slicing machine. Excellent price, quality, spare blade included. The blade is very sharp. I recommend experienced with this type of tool is essential.

LOVE this bread knife!!! It is VERY sharp and cuts through all the breads we've made very smoothly and easily. For the people that say they cannot pick the size we don't understand. Both my husband and I have used this knife and it's all where you place the blade and start cutting on how big of a slice you get. We've cut small slices and big slices. Crusty bread and soft bread. Knife is great! Replacement blades hard to find

This knife works great! But the blades dull quick. The blades worked so well I tried to find replacement blades of the same caliber but couldn’t find anything from the same company. Ended up buying different blades and they’re hard to cut with as they are flimsy and wobble as you start to cut.

This knife has made cutting my sourdough bread so much easier. It even helps me keep the slices pretty much even. I have some muscle weakness in my arms and this knife has worked well for me. I struggled using a regular bread knife.
