I use these as either name cards for seating or to label food items for display. I found that these are smaller than expected, but they do its job. You'll have to buy a separate name holder or card to put in. They have a little bit of weight to it so it doesn't seem like they will fly off, but I haven't had any windy outdoor event yet.
They looked so lovely on the tables at my son's christening. I put a little thank-you note with them, and they looked elegant, and the material was great so they wouldn't blow away in the wind.

If you are a person searching for an understated name card holder, this is the product for you. It is smaller than I anticipated. but very functional. The holder will support a business size card, but I would be cautious about the thickness of the card...I think a card that is very thick (as might be found at a wedding or formal event) might have difficulty being secured by it. It is extremely sturdy and the metal is reasonably heavy, so it is not going to be blown out-of-place by breeze...Other than the size, it a minimalist, functional card holder at a nice price...I can recommend it without reservation.
These card holders are incredibly tiny! They are so small that the design doesn't even accommodate proper insertion of any type of paper. The measurements of the envelope I tried to insert was only 7in x 5in. It tipped sideways out of the holder. Simple small name tags would not insert well enough into the slot. The best I could get it was to set it on hoping that no breeze would blow it off position. My main goal was to use these holders to allow envelopes to dry after ink was written on them. I'm not confident in using these holders due to their design and size. I'm hoping I can find a purpose for these.
