12yo Torture Test Approved!
My son is hard on equipment, and finally killed off the waterbottle he's had for a while now. We picked this one up as a replacement and so far it's held up great! we like the design of the lid as simple and robust, all the straw style ones tend to break first. Plus he prefers this style for drinking anyways, so functional win. We got the black, and the color is holding up well, no fading and very minimal chipping considering this thing is basically used as a football. The lid also fits on the other water bottles we have, and the others fit on this. So being able to interchange is nice.

Affordable insulated water bottle - just don't expect a straw
This ChantikPeak insulated water bottle listing popped up right as I was taking a sip from my plastic water bottle. I've been slowly replacing all plastics in the kitchen with stainless steel or wood, and the hardest habit to drop is the switch from single-use plastic water bottles to a refillable bottle. The benefits to the switch far outweigh the convenience of the plastic: insulation to keep my drink at temperature, not prone to leakage or breakage the way thin plastics are, can't get knocked over by my cats, has a built in straw, dishwasher-safe, and does not add microplastics to my drink.I love the simple, sleek look of this bottle. I wish the base was smaller so that it would fit a car's cupholder, but it fits well in a water bottle pocket in a standard backpack or work bag. I have to sit it on my passenger seat on the way to work, and despite falling over a few times, no water has spilled from it yet!The straw assembly I received with this water bottle does not seem to, no matter how I attempt to attach or orient it, fit while allowing the lid to close. No instructions were included with the bottle, and I thought it'd be simple enough to put together without them -- no luck. Perhaps my straw is just a tad too long? I deducted one star as a result. I can still drink out of it without the straw, but it's a little harder to when it's full and therefore heavier.Overall: this is a great price for an insulated bottle of this size, and ChantikPeak comes in several cute colors. Who needs overrated, trending brands when you can get functional bottles for less?

Durable, pretty color, keeps drinks cold all day
This is a high quality, nice looking water bottle. The ocean mist color is really pretty, for a guy or a girl.The handle is nice, and it's easy to hold.You can drink from the opening in the lid, or there's also a pop-up straw, if you prefer that. I don't like drinking from straws, so the opening in the lid is perfect for me. The lid fits tightly, so I'm able shake my electrolyte powder in water, without any leaks.When I fill it in the morning, my water is still cold in the evening.It comes in a nice box, and would make a great gift.Highly recommended.

The ChantikPeak 32oz Water Bottle keeps drinks cold for hours, even during hot gym sessions. The wide mouth makes cleaning easy, and the pop-up straw is convenient. The lid and straw are badly designed
I am reviewing: Insulated Water Bottle, 32 oz, Stainless Steel, Wide Mouth with Leak-Proof Lid, pop-up straw (Ocean Mist, 32oz)Maybe I'm the only person who thinks that this "pop up" straw works. It's a terrible design.The bottle itself is nice and keeps temperatures well. It does not fit into any of our cupholders. But nothing about the lid or straw is good. Starting with the lid seeming to resist screwing on straight. And it has a very shallow thread. The silicone ring around the lid helps to grip, but it is too loose. The screw on part of the lid is rigid and rattly.And this pop up straw? It is making me feel inept. You wouldn't think a straw would need instructions, but how is this supposed to work. I copied another reviewer's setup and it just doesn't work. It looks as if the straw needs to fit inside of the inner ring of the lid, but it does not, and it won't go. I can force it shut, but then when I open it again, the white funnel part is wedged sideways inside and I had to open the lid to get it loose. Two other tries ended up with the white piece falling off completely. And forget putting ice in this bottle and screwing the lid on with that straw contraption.I am pretty disappointed and would not buy this again. Kind of wishing I hadn't.

Solid, cute, and keeps drinks cold!
Got this for my daughter to take to gymnastics because apparently every sport requires a very specific water bottle these days.
