Money well spent
I'm in love with water again. This bottle is tuff stuff. I dropped it the first day (figures) and didn't even dent it. It keeps my water at whatever temperature I want, hot or cold. It's stainless steel and I no longer have to worry about forever chemicals leeching into my water from plastic. I'm trying to improve my health, not make it worse. So, I got rid of as much plastic as possible including expensive, plastic topped water bottles. This should last me years. Money well spent to my way of thinking.

Great little thermos!
I have usually used the fat stainless steel industrial thermoses, and I was delighted to find this thinner one that is easier to hold and carry in a bag, and has a metal ring to grab it by. It's still double walled and has good insulation. I filled it with hot coffee (I heat it with hot water first, while I'm making my coffee) and brought it to the town parade on a chilly morning. The coffee stayed scalding for hours. 4-5 hours later it was still hot and good to drink even after it was 3/4 drank. I wrapped it in a small hand towel to protect my purse from spills, but it did not seem to leak. The spills happened down my chin when the coffee level was at the bottom of the flask and I had to tip it all the way up. No matter how careful I was, coffee would stream out the sides and go down my neck. Luckily no one saw, lol. I think it may have to do with the shape of the shoulders of the bottle and the wide opening, but I appreciate the opening being big enough for ice cubes. I wish it came with an extra silicone seal ring. It comes out easily for washing. The threads are very shallow and one would tend to want to over tighten it to prevent leaks, but the threads do nothing in that regard. It relies solely on the silicone seal to prevent leaks. Over tightening could actually cause it to leak. This is a keeper. It has a plain, functional appearance, which I love, and is a good value for around 25 bucks for the 25 oz..

My husband loves it!
I don’t know how this became my husband’s drinking cup (for water) when it was supposed to be for tea, but he LOVES it. It’s obviously durable (hello stainless steel), leakproof, does keep hot things at the right temperature and cold things at a cold temperature, and it’s awesome it can be stuck in the dishwasher. Nobody has time to hand wash anymore! Super functional—even at the small size!
