So far these bags have worked nicely to keep cheese fresh and haven’t let any air back in. They’ve been easy to open and reseal and remove air again. The plastic is heavy duty. There’s a nice selection of various sizes too, although the smallest two will probably be the most used. These bags can also be used for any non-food items you’d want protected from air or moisture. I only wish it had an area on the bag so I could write the date/contents.
As a user of the original Food Saver Machine I have used a lot of different bags. The Vixino bags are the best I have ever tried. The company uses very heavy duty plastic for their bags. They are very easy to seal-I even sealed one that had gotten too close to my electric skillet and had sealed itself (only had about half a bag and I was still able to seal it). I bought the large three pack of mixed sizes. The bags are reusable and this makes it easier to save money. The price reflects the quality of their product. The bags are easy to use and clean. I use these bags for EVERYTHING-from jewelry, to sealing winter socks, and for any food I can get into them! They are durable and functional. These bags worked very well, especially if you use them for refrigeration or freezing. The only problem I found was that if you vacuum seal an item and leave it out without any refrigeration; the air tends to leak out.
