Easy for first time vacuum sealing
This is my first vacuum sealer, so I was not comfortable pressing down as tightly as I had to. The foam that creates the seal needs to be compressed to allow the vacuum chamber to remove the sir, so it takes a bit of force but not enough to make me want to return it. But it was pretty easy to figure out otherwise. My test seal was a bunch of dry tea bags. I figured a solid irregular shape would be telling if it worked, how well, etc. Well, it worked pretty great. Inwas thinking my first few attempts wouldn't come out right, but once I got it down it worked exactly as I hoped. It pulls the air out then has a separate timer for the seal. It has a durable build quality, but the cutter is situated directly above one of the foam gaskets and doesn't seem to have a purpose. It doesn't have an opening or protrude down into the space at all. Putting it high up also doesn't seem oractical since the sealer in low down and the top of the bag should be, too. This model doesn't have storage for a roll of bags inside it, so the movable cutter piece really doesn't male any kind of sense. Overall I like it as it does the job I got it for and I have scissors for cutting bags.EDIT: Tried to use the cutter and it was very useless. First of all, why would it not thread through completely? All it could do is snip off the top of the bag above the seal line. And it seriously tucked at it. I don't think it had a blade in it, and if it does it serves literally NO purpose. So I have to remove a star for wasting what would be a very useful feature.
