I’ve had a couple of vacuum sealers over the years, starting with the name-brand that started it all. I gave away that first, still-working sealer to a friend when I upgraded. Eventually I needed something a little more user-friendly and have tried others along the way.This sealer is very intuitive and easy to use, with an instruction manual that is 90% clear. The illustrations are a little flat, making some tasks a little harder to figure out than others. Once you get it though, you’re all set.The operation is smooth and no exertion is required to complete the basic tasks. The unsealed bag sets into the sealer upon the heat strip, close the top portion and use the bar to secure everything in place. I appreciate the safety feature of the sealer not moving forward until that bar is set.The unit has an option for single seal or double seal. I use double seal every time and have had no issues with bag integrity. The one difficulty I had was that the sealing opening on the machine sits about 2 inches from the bottom, meaning that unless the material you are sealing raises the bag up naturally, you’ll have to be holding that bag in place the same time that you work on pulling that bar down. Making new bags without using the dispenser is easier than sealing one up.The overall size of the machine is another note. Depending on your counter size, you may need to find a place to store this out of the way if you have a small kitchen. The base footprint is not any larger than other sealers, but the bar extends upward several inches, so you’re not sliding this anywhere short, you need some clearance.Regarding build quality, I am pleased with the materials used; it lends a sturdy feeling to the device and I feel like I can use it frequently without needing to be too delicate with it.This sealer includes equipment to use on plastic containers, jars, and bags equipped with vacuum ports and my experience has been positive with the one plastic container I tried.As with many sealers, there are numerous options available, catering to whatever material you are sealing or sucking the air out of.The specifications of this sealer are on par with other, higher priced sealers that I have seen, and I am hoping this will be the one to last for years.

Powerful, Well-Designed Upgrade That Has Already Paid for Itself
This is only the second food vacuum sealer I’ve ever owned, and it is a clear upgrade from my previous lower-end DR.Fresh model. I am genuinely impressed. Between this sealer and a small deep freezer, my husband and I have cut our food expenses nearly in half.This machine looks, feels, and performs like the heavy-duty equivalent of a Ford F-250 in vacuum sealers. The stainless steel build feels solid and durable, and the performance matches the design. It double-seals, which my older model did not, and that alone gives much more confidence when sealing meats, soups, and freezer items.Operation is straightforward and well thought out. The one-hand locking handle works smoothly, the LED countdown is helpful, and the multiple modes make it easy to seal everything from delicate bread to liquid-heavy foods. I especially appreciate the external hose for jars and containers, and the built-in roll storage with cutter. It came with a full roll of bags plus smaller bags, and it also works perfectly with the bags from my older machine, which adds to the overall value.The suction power is strong, sealing quickly and quietly, and the double heat seal creates a wide, secure closure that holds up well in the freezer. Cleanup is easy thanks to the removable drip tray.My only hesitation is size. This is not a small appliance, and it is too large to live permanently on my countertop in a small kitchen. This vacuum sealer machine is one that does dry, wet, or liquid sealing. It has a compartment inside to store a roll of for creating different sized bags for whatever you need. You cut the roll with a cutting tool inside and then you can quickly seal the bag your creating on one side and then seal the other once you fill it. The instructions are very clear on what to do and how to utilize the machine for whatever you need to use it for. There is an option to do quick marinating which I've never done before but apparently it does some sort of pulse. I plan to freeze extra soups when we are sick or in the hospital and this is great for that. It's the vacuum sealing soups thing that I really dig. After testing the options I found it works great. The vacuum sealer option for Mason jars is something I will need to explore at a later date but the basic options do work and well! I found the gentle vacuum sealer option worked great to not crush a bunch of rice snacks. I can say it seals perfectly. I love the option of double sealing for liquids and wet items. Alot of marinating will be taking place as well. Perfect to vacuum seal marinades!The machine itself comes with an extra gasket for sealing. And a very well created instruction manual. There is an option for extended warranties and the company does do a warranty of at least one year. The quality is great, I don't have any problems with this machine. I think it's quite a good price for all you are getting and the warranty helps ensure your getting a product that will live up to its name. I'm happy to add this tools to my kitchen to help keep my family happy and healthy!
