I had mixed feelings about these glasses when they arrived. They were not what I expected or envisioned but they were in the end exactly what I needed. We used them to contain the topping for our mashed and sweet potato bar. The potatoes were served in disposable martini glasses which I also purchased here. The guests had a great time customizing their spuds with chives, bacon bits, cheese or mini marshmallows, chopped nut & brown sugar. Cheers!

When “Go Big or Go Home” Becomes a Centerpiece
These jumbo martini glasses arrive in three pieces (base, stem, bowl) and snap together easily. At 48 ounces with a 9-inch opening, they’re every bit as oversized as the photos suggest. The acrylic is thick, clear, and sturdy enough that you don’t worry about them cracking if someone bumps the table. They ship well-packaged, and once assembled they sit solidly even when filled.Now, the stock photos make it look like you could fill these with ice and stand up beer bottles. Don’t. That’s not happening unless you enjoy watching physics win. The stems are two-piece plastic and the “stick-together” seam is visible, which does take away from the illusion a little. For me, that’s a tradeoff I can live with — they disassemble for storage and stack down, which is nice.We have an annual martini party, and one of these is absolutely going to be my glass for nostalgia and laughs. More realistically, they shine as centerpieces: shrimp cocktail displays, candy buffets, floral arrangements, or even a dramatic fruit bowl. They’ve got the kitsch factor of being wonderfully over the top, but they’re also practical enough to reuse across different events.At the time of this review, the price is $33.99 for a set of two, which feels fair given how big they are and how sturdy the acrylic is. I do wish the stems were molded in a single piece for a cleaner look, but once they’re filled and lit up as part of a table display, most people won’t notice.These aren’t elegant crystal barware — they’re conversation starters.
