I have several vancasso sets of dinnerware and they are absolutely and strikingly beautiful. One is a set of 28 oz bowls that are more narrow and taller than these 32 oz pasta bowls, but both sets sport the fantastic vancasso vivid and colorful boho style.I also have some Selene motif pieces that are just as beautiful but in a more subdues way. I really love the BoHo style because of all the patterns and colors. Intense, they come alive with extremely vivid color, to brighten and bring excitement to any dinner table.These particular flatter and shorter bowls are ideally suited for pasta or salad, but whatever you serve in these bowls will arrive at the table with flair and really brighten your meal. People always ask where we got the beautiful plates and bowls.They are fabricated from a very dense clay and designed for incredible strength and longevity. The vivid colors under a clear topcoat are fired to a very hard and smooth finish. They seem like they will last forever. I would not be surprised if this set of bowls is found 2000 years from now buried in the woods behind my house and considered artifacts from a prior time, but will likely still have that vivid color and beautiful shiny topcoat.I respect all the different dinnerware styles that vancasso manufactures, but you can probably tell I am really in love with the Bohemian-themed items.At $42 for the set of 6 bowls, each is about $7and look and feel a lot more expensive than that.

Vancasso Pasta Bowls
Set of six unique bowls. Each bowl is a different color combination. Bowls are more shallow than I expected especially with them being described as Pasta Bowls. The circumference is approximately 8" with an approximate depth of 1.7". These bowls are well made and functional for many dining purposes. There is much versatility that can be achieved with these bowls. They can be serving bowls, dining bowls, snack bowls and bowls to hold various items during gatherings. According to the manufacturer, these can go into the dishwasher but I will most likely wash these by hand to reduce the risk of damaging them. These bowls can be stacked inside of each other for storage purposes. These bowls are so beautiful with such a quality feel to theme that I am giving them a five despite them being more shallow than I would like them to be.
