Beautiful, high quality, lightweight dishes!
Really nice set of dishes! Beautiful colors and style! Likely handmade (each one is a slightly different size and there are little flecks from the ceramic making process making little bumps and such in spots, but I like the uniqueness of that, adds character)! Lightweight, takes dishwashing and microwaving fairly well! Tho after ~2 minutes in a microwave it is quite warm to the touch, so try to keep microwaving to a minimum. They will probably be fine with a longer time, but I am very nervous about the heat making them just pop in half in the microwave (I have had that happen with other dishes that were microwave safe when we bought them though by the time they broke they were probably ~15 years old). Perfect sizes for me! Makes any and all food look restaurant quality even when I don’t bother to try to make it look pretty and just pile the food on! Seems fairly scratch resistant when using serrated knives on food like steaks! The box was really lightweight when I picked it up, and very easy to carry. This was especially good since the delivery person didn’t seem to care about whether the corners were smashed in. The box was also left on its side despite the “fragile” label on top. And the delivery person clearly did not ready my delivery instructions to handle with care and deliver it to the door to protect it. That being said, the dishes turned out fine and were unharmed despite the rough handling of the package! So that handling speaks ill of Amazon delivery, but the dishes themselves I REALLY love!!!
