Finally...Square Black Dishes with Square Bowls
I've been looking for black, square dishes with square bowls, forever. For some reason the square dishes were always paired with round bowls. Why? Anyway, I ordered these on the 17th and they arrived on the 20th - this is super fast delivery for Hawaii. Also, I took a chance that they would travel that distance intact. As luck would have it, they were all in one piece! They're beautiful. The sheen, color and design is lovely. My husband even said, "I love these!" Which shocked the heck out of me because I don't think I've ever gotten more than a, "it's alright," and usually a, "meh," out of him. But they are very nice. There were a few teeny, tiny scratches on a couple of the large plates, but honestly they were so small you could only see them under the brightest light and only if you were looking for them. The base of the dishes had some rough textures in a few small areas, so we took a 3M green scrubber to those areas and smoothed them out so they wouldn't scratch each other as we stacked them. This worked very well. 2 of the plates had a very slight wobble, but we use placemats or a tablecloth, so it isn't an issue for us. All-in-all, these dishes are a great, look, quality and value for the money and I'm so happy I finally got my square bowls. I highly recommend. I'll do an update if they chip easily, but so far, so good.

Color is exactly as seen on line. They are light weight but not to light. A few scratches on a couple of the plates but nothing major or broken. So far I like them, no complaints.

Soho dinnerware sets 12 piece in red
Just bought these new dishes to go with my newly remodeled kitchen. I’m very pleased with them, and they look great. We’ll see how they hold up in the dishwasher. I would repurchase them, and I probably will buy more.

Quality Control Issues
This dinnerware set is beautiful. Provides a classy look. The quality is the reason I give this 4 stars. The quality control on this set isn’t the best. I received a bowl with a visible discolored imperfection. One of the plates came scratched and one of the mugs handle is noticeably off-centered and not like the other mugs. This set isn’t as heavy as I’d expected. Overall it get’s the job done.

I love these plates. I received them in bomb condition. No scratches, chips, discoloration nothing! They look exactly like the picture. The shape is sharp and right on point. The size is good and normal. It fits the accommodation of the look when stacking them on top of each other as a set. The color is bomb. Main reason I got it!
