A huge time saver
If you routinely dice onions or similar, I don't know why you haven't got one of these yet. It has been a HUGE time saver in regard to dicing specifically. The blades have remained sharp after moderate use, and cleaning has been easy with the small silicone insert preventing most things from getting lodged too deep into the "pushing" portion of the lid. My only gripe with it so far were the rubber feet - they aren't adhered very well, and one has fallen off and went who knows where. Hopefully not into my food while I dumped the contents into the pan.😅I've put some relatively large chunks through this and have had to give a good push to get it through, but it muscled through it without snapping the lid. Big plus!As others have mentioned, the provided documentation can be a bit confusing and make you wonder if you're missing parts you should have received - hopefully they address this as it's a simple fix going forward.

Best chopper I've found outside of a more expensive, industrial one
I got a different food chopper a while ago that was very poorly engineered and wrote a (deservedly) scathing review on how dangerous it was. This GLADICER chopper is like night and day. While it may not be industrial kitchen caliber, it is more than sufficient for a home kitchen and works perfectly well. I think the best review I can give is to highlight what the old one did wrong that this one does right, so you can appreciate what makes this stand out and rate such high marks. (See pics for comparison; OLD - Left, gray; NEW - Right, white)SIZE. The GLADICER somehow manages to have a slightly larger storage bin, while taking up a smaller footprint. Great for collecting more food, great for storing in a smaller spot.ACCESSORIES. The old one actually has substantially more attachments and accessories. However, I won't use even half of them and they're dangerous to add and remove. Plus, they don't all fit in the bin. The GLADICER on the other hand has a medium dicer, a fine dicer, an egg separator, a peeler, and a brush. Not too many pieces to mess with and they all fit in the bin. The only thing I wish the GLADICER had was a cheese grater.STABILITY. There are a number of factors that made the old chopper unstable and the GLADICER substantially more stable. 1) The thickness and weight of both the lid and the base. The old chopper had thin, cheap plastic and was very lightweight. The GLADICER has thicker plastic and a little more weight to it. 2) The feet pads. The old chopper had two thin strips of neoprene, making it slide a bit while trying to use it. The GLADICER has four, slightly thicker rubber pads that have a better grip on the counter-top. 3) The lid on the old chopper simply rests on the base, and not very securely. The lid wraps over the base. Combined with the lightness of the base, it makes the whole thing more top-heavy. The lid lifts off the base when you apply any amount of force. The GLADICER on the other hand, sits *much* more securely, with the lip of the lid fitting snugly inside the base (Pic 3). It does not move. You actually have to "unsnap" and pull the lid out of the base when you want to separate them. 4) The old chopper has a handle that extends a few inches beyond the base, creating an imbalance when you try to press it down. The GLADICER flip-top lines up squarely. The difference in stability is striking and what first caught my attention with the GLADICER.ATTACHMENT INSTALL/REMOVAL. On the old chopper, the square dicing grids are are able to be inserted and removed pretty easily. The problem (and significant danger) is with the smaller slot in the top. This is where you put the cheese graters and mandolin slicer. These do not snap in (or out) easily, and require a significant amount of force. So if you're trying to pry out one of those attachments with the tiny finger indent and you slip? Goodbye fingertip, knuckle, or whatever catches on the blades. (Ask me how I know!). The GLADICER conversely, has both dicing grids on one attachment, and you can easily slide it in or pop it out with the finger groove placed in the front (Pic 4), safely out of harm's way.DISHWASHER-SAFENESS. With the material used and the thickness of the plastic, the GLADICER has held up well in the top rack of the dishwasher. The old chopper... well, take a look at the picture and see for yourself (Pic 5).OTHER FEATURES. The GLADICER includes a screen (Pic 2) that you can place on the prongs before chopping, and pull off after to clean them. It also includes a brush for cleaning. The old chopper included neither of these. Additionally, the GLADICER dicers have a larger cutting area, so you can get a little bit more food cut at a time.Oh yeah, and the food cuts cleanly - huge time saver!Bottom line: If you're looking for a food/vegetable chopper, the GLADICER is 100% worth it, and is very reasonably priced. The only thing it's missing is a cheese grater (and possibly a mandolin slicer).

Choppin' Broccoli
This is a nice little food chopper. I wasn't sure it would work very well but I was pleasantly surprised! It chopped and diced onions, peppers, cucumbers, carrots, and potatoes with ease. You do have to prep the vegetables a bit by cutting them down to a smaller size AND you'll need to apply a good amount of pressure to the lid, but the lid feels sturdy, and not flimsy, which helps force your fruits and veg through the dicing attachment. I love that the chopper's attached container catches all the chopped ingredients so you can just throw them into your skillet, casserole or stew with ease and saves on dishes later. After use, this chopper was easy to clean and dishwasher safe which is a big win for me! Overall, this chopper has made meal prep a lot simpler!
