This is a good holder. It can hold a large sized roll from the big box stores. They have the larger rolls now to minimize the number of changes. Works as described!

I tried three other countertop paper towel holders which I had to send back because they didn't work as described.This one is perfect in every way. It has suction cups on the bottom which was recommended for laminate countertops and it works perfectly...doesn't slip or move around.The ratchet system that keeps the roll from continuing to move is wonderful.The sidearm is the best. It makes it possible along with the ratcheting system to pull one paper towel at a time with total ease. Because it rests against the towel roll, it also keeps the next section from hanging out on the side.One review I read said that the side arm broke but I think the reason for that is that when they were tearing the paper towel they were pulling against the arm constantly. All you have to do is just tear the piece off without pulling against the arm to do it.So I am absolutely pleased with this purchase.
