Love it!
I had the traditional round angel food cake pan - the old, old school round pan that you needed a glass bottle to hang it upside down - and decided I needed an upgrade. I really like this square pan - it has the two part traditional angel food pan feature while having feet to hold it upside down AND being square, which I have found I really, really like! It makes it so much easier to have evenly distributed toppings on said angel food cake since it is fairly uniform in size. Mostly. The pan is a nice weight and feels sturdy and clean up is a breeze since it comes apart, allowing you easily reach all of the areas. When we made the cake, there was zero leakage and the cake cooked beautifully, no uneven patches or burning or undercooking. It is a fantastic pan, and a great shape for cake!
Good quality
This two pice 10 inch square tube cake pan from Vesici is very unique. It has a removable bottom so it is a two piece set. The size is great do you can bake a cake using a mix containing 18 to 28 cups. You can bake a large cake such as an Angel, pound or birthday cake. The pan is well made from an aluminum alloy so the heat gets more evenly distributed. The square design of the tube is complimented by the 4 cooling feet which enables the cake to cool faster. The tube also allows you to remove the cake without damaging its surface. The pan is designed so you don’t have to grease it to get it from sticking to the pan.
This is my first time finding a pan of this size. It's deep and comes easy to separate. It's non stick so easy to clean. It's thick material allows you to grab without burning your hands with mits. Can't wait to see the many ways I can use this.
this leaked my cake batter and the cake came out low and flat even though i used a mile high pound cake recipe
I really like this cake pan. Its non-stick surface makes it pretty easy to clean, and while it’s sturdy, it’s surprisingly lightweight—lighter than I expected but still works. The size is perfect, big enough for most cake recipes. I’ve used it for both a pound cake and a bread recipe. The pound cake came out well with just a light coating of butter and flour, and I didn’t have any trouble with the bread releasing either. I placed parchment paper under it in case of leaks, but that wasn’t an issue. For nearly $50, I thought it might be a bit thicker, but overall, I’m happy with it.
