I gave this cup as a gift and the recipient was amused and very pleased with the gift! The quality has been great. This cup is used almost every day and has been washed several times.I highly recommend as a sassy gift for anyone with a good sense of humor. This cup has maintained its color and functionality and will be enjoyed for a long time!

The heat change function doesn't work very well. Granted the picture shows it pouring out of a kettle so likely boiling hot but I tried it with sink water on the hottest setting and even waited for it to get steamy hot and it took 90+ seconds to transition and didn't fully even change. The outsides of the cup were still black but it was readable and they noticed what it said pretty quickly. The black ink used that remains after it turns white is slightly satin while the black of the mug itself is matte so it does stand out a hare when looking closely in the light.The mug itself feels nice and of high quality.
I have a non-heat activated one of these mugs too and think this one is a bit more subtle and harder to read. The U is capped at the top and there's a little ascii art thing on either side. It would be nice if the print went farther around, but this coverage is still good.The cost for this heat activated mug is like other novelty heat activated mugs. My mug may have a bit more of the heat activating paint on it than usual since it takes extra heat to fade. The mug had no defects and overall is a good print with a different font than what you may usually find from the other varieties of this pattern.
