Coating information is a little confusing
Perhaps others can clarify what exactly "ceramic" and "Greblon" mean when used about the same product; from what I understand, Greblon IS a form of teflon (aka, PTFE) but this pan has also been coated with ceramic. I'm still going to err on the side of caution: No use of high heat, metal utensils or aerosol cooking spray, and will always hand wash without abrasive scrub pads.The lid has a steam vent - not sure if it's needed, since there is a pour spout on each side of the pan itself.Do read the insert, which advises how to treat the pan before you use it. Also, while I was surprised that the handle needed to be attached by hand, included were a really cool tool for gripping and turning the bolts, plus an extra set of hardware.Nice looking item and fairly heavy.

INADEQUATE NON-STICK FEATURE
This saucepan is a disappointment and definitely not worth $79.99 (my price point). The saucepan is advertised as being non-stick and that the honeycomb texture enhances the non-stick feature. I disagree with this claim. My cooking experiences have demonstrated that the non-stick feature of this pan does not function well or adequately. I have found that this saucepan is not suitable for cooking rice or beans (pork ‘n beans; baked beans; refried beans), as those food items WILL stick to the bottom of the pan. This saucepan is designed with a pour spout on each side of the pan. Though this feature can be handy in some situations, this feature can also be problematic. The pour spouts cause liquids to boil off too rapidly. Cooked and lidded foods with the burner turned off, waiting to be served, will cool down faster due to heat escaping via the pour spouts. In addition, the ill-fitted glass lid does not set properly on the pan as well as it should. In a nutshell: The saucepan is sturdy and has a good strong handle, but you need to be selective with which foods are cooked within it.

Fantastic quality saucepan!
This is a beautiful piece of cookware. The handle needs to be put onto the pot when it arrives, but they include a very nice wrench as well as extra nuts to attach it. It took less than a minute.I followed the instructions to prep the pan, then used it during dinner tonight. The pan is heavy and the bottom thick, retaining heat and spreading it evenly across the bottom. After using, cleanup was incredibly easy. Just a wipe with a wet sponge and a rinse and it was clean.One thing I particularly like is that the handle of the pot stays cool to the touch, even when left cooking for over 30 minutes. It is a beautiful high quality piece of cookware and has a very welcome place in my kitchen.

Very nice pan
This is a nice heavy pan with a thick bottom which helps to promote even heating. The non-stick worked very well and made cooking and clean-up a cinch. It has a nice glass lid so you can see what you bare cooking without removing it. The embossed pattern gives it a distinctive look. The handle stays nice and cool while cooking. Over-all, a very nice pan.
