nice bowls - good set of sizes - love the lid design

They’re good, well-made, stainless steel bowls. Like many/most sets like this, you’ll probably never use the biggest bowl or the smallest bowl but the range of sizes is good. You might see other reviews complaining about the lids… I can’t understand why… I LOVE them! Yes, they’re *different* from lids that go over the top of the bowl but they’re also BETTER! They just kinda slide right in (a lip goes into the bowl and then a brim sets flush with the top edge of the bowl) and they seal really well. There’s zero effort to seal the lid so maybe that’s what’s confusing people. They’re so used to forcing the lid over the outside edge and then ‘burping’ the lid. These just slip right in & seal beautifully… no effort, no burping. And they open easily too, with notches on opposite sides that you just grab & pick up. They’re the best-designed & best fitting lids of anything I’ve ever had, period.

Surprisingly light!

The advert did say lightweight but these are really light weight! Absolutely love them. They stack well, wash well and despite being light, haven't dented. Dishwasher safe. The lids took getting used to as they are, for me, unconventional. Pushing the lids down into the bowl actually creates a great seal with the added bonus of being able to securely stack them as one bowl sits down into the other. Perfect to easily get out of a high cupboard shelf without worrying about wrist strength. Highly recommend.

Food safe container

Bowls are sturdy but lids do not stay on! The lids worked correctly for about a week and then they started poping off mainly on the large bowls! I usuall had wash plastic to! They also retain a smell of what ever you keep in them. Soaking in hot water and baking soda or dishwasher did not help the odor! A big waste of money for bowls with lids! I just use a plastic wrap on the bowls now!

Don’t buy if you’re planning to store left overs

I bought these in October 2022. When they arrived they were packed so all the lids all bent so they wouldn’t really stay on the bowls. I ran them through the dishwasher a few times, soaked them in hot water, put heavy items on top to keep the lids on, etc.Well it is now Dec 2023. And the lids are still popping off the Christmas leftovers in the fridge like it’s a party in there (mind you this is the second Christmas I have had these lids).It’s almost like the lids were made in the factory and never fully cooled when they took them off the machine so when they packed the lids they cooled that way and that’s just how they are forever now? I don’t know it all works. All I know is if I had to bet my life on one constant in this world it would be that the lids WILL pop off of these bowls. Were I little more poetic I would find some comfort in that.Anyway. The metal bowls themselves are fantastic and the reason for the generous 3 stars. The bowls can still be used for serving, mixing, marinating, etc.Just believe that when all life has ceased on this earth and everything except for plastics has disintegrated back to dust…these lids will still be laying about in the shape of a long lost Pringle.
