Strong and spacious

I'm in the Vine program so I write a lot of reviews, enough that I seldom write reviews for non-Vine items. The exception is when I get something that's really good or really bad. In this case, it's good news. I've been needing some reusable shopping bags for a while and have been looking. Many of them have simple bottoms, where two pieces of cloth making up the sides are just sewn together. This works for a bag, but it really limits how much it will hold.These bags are gusseted, meaning the bottom of the bag expands out to 10" wide, greatly increasing the capacity of the bag and making it easy to add large items like gallons of milk. There are 6 large pockets on the inside that will hold half gallons of milk, 2 liter pop bottles or such to keep them organized.The canvas is nice and heavy, the stitching is strong, I have no concerns about durability with these. I'm really happy with these and think they're a good value for a reasonable price.

I live in California where grocery bags are banned. These are huge and carry a lot!! They’re also really good quality and very sturdy. I will definitely be purchasing more of these. They’re also great to use as storage bags. I used one of them for all my crochet supplies.

The best cloth bags ever!!!

I just bought 2 more bundles of this cloth bags. They are my favorite of any cloth bags. I try never to use plastic bags when grocery shopping, other shopping or carrying stuff from one place to another. Very heavy cotton fabric and 2 sets of hands ( long & short). I do believe they could hold 80 lbs each. Pockets inside to hold glass bottles or whatever. Long handles have a snap so if you put the long straps on your shoulder, they won't slide off. These are big bags. Love them. I will probably have to order 1-2 bundles more for my husband, he is eyeing mine.These are the absolute best!!!

Overall, Pretty Damn Good.

Overall, I really like these bags.The Good: They are roomy. The myriad of pockets are very cool although I have yet to put anything in a pocket. They appear to be very sturdily made out of sturdy canvas. The shoulder straps snap together and to my absolute delight, the should straps do not slide on my shoulder. I put the bag over my should and it stays exactly there.The Not So Good: They are not just roomy. They are enormous. I have to remember to tell the bagger at Publix not to fill a bag up or I won't be able to lift it. The bags themselves are quite heavy and if I am carrying heavy groceries, it adds to the weight.Overall, I like them but I do wish they weren't so heavy and didn't hold quite as much. But then, I am old and these issues are more important to me than to a younger person. I do love that they don't slide off my shoulder as I am staggering under their weight up the stairs to my condo (I'm too lazy to walk all the way to the lobby for the elevator and then walk to my condo when my carport spot is a few feet from the stairs which end a few feet from my door!)
