The mug is nice and BIG, but easy to hold. Someone said the handle was awkwardly shaped, but i have arthritis in my fingers and the handle shape was fine. Functionally, I like that the lid has a small hole for the spoon to stick out. I plan to add bunny ears to the lid and turn it into an Easter mug.
It really does the job of keeping my tea (not just coffee) inside hot and drinkable. It works well on the cup warmer, even though there is a very slight convex shape to the bottom.The color is gorgeous, and the inside is pure white. You can hand-wash or use the dishwasher and have a completely clean cup.The cover is nice, but I do not need to use it since the cup sits on a warmer.It does such a good job that I had to overlook the one very slight problem: the handle feels strange in my hand. As I hold the cup, it tries to slide down, and my thumb does not always secure it correctly. Since my wife doesn't have the same problem, I am not deducting a Star!YES! I do highly recommend this multipurpose cup: coffee, tea, and any other liquids.
I like this item very much however I unfortunately broke the lid a week or so after I purchased it (my own fault). I found a nice lid replacement here on Amazon - search for a listing for "2 pc. Reusable Mug Lids for Ceramic Mugs 11 oz". The lid is white ceramic that matches the mug nicely and the outside dimension is 3.25 inches and the inside dimension of the band that sits within the mug is listed at 6.5 cm (my ruler measures the outer diameter of the band that drops into the cup at 2 3/4 inches). Hopefully that will help out anyone who has broken or misplaced their lid.
This mug performs well with coffee warmer I’m currently using. The flat bottom is exactly what the warmer needed to provide constant hot coffee. Also the ceramic lid provides additional insulation to ensure hot coffee over a lengthy period of time. Capacity is adequate, design user friendly. Couldn’t be happier
This mug has a flat bottom and wider bottom which makes it ideal for heating pad warmers. I love the lid that goes with it to keep the tea warm while it steeps. The lid has a hole for the teabag string. My only negative is that the handle, which feels comfy when I pick the cup up, forces my little fingers to touch the hot mug where other mugs have the handle folding back so your finger is protected by that handle. This one does not have that. But I have arthritis so my fingers aren't as mobile as a younger persons.

Handle is upside down. The cup would spill if you let it fall naturally and if the beverage is hot, your fingers are uncomfortable.
