Lovely modern paper towel holder!
This paper towel holder is lovely!It has such a clean modern look with that faceted base and flat top pole.The base part is basically a round tray/bowl with a 1.5” tall rim. The rim serves as a catch for the end of the paper towel roll instead of the usual short pole that comes on paper towel holders like my old one (see video).There are a couple benefits I see to having the bottom of the paper towel roll entirely surrounded by this solid ceramic tray.One, it’s highly unlikely the bottom of your paper towels will pick up any stray water droplets or else from the countertop.Two, it’s also less likely, your paper towels will leave cotton dust bunnies on your counter over time. I had this problem pretty bad with my old holder because of its punched metal base. Every month or so, I’d notice a build up of white cotton fibers in the corner of my sink area where I keep my paper towels. Very noticeable on black countertops too.The drawback to this rimmed design as opposed to an open design pt holder with just a short catch pole, is that pulling off a piece of paper towel isn’t quite as smooth since you have the rim in the way. It’s not hard by any means, just something to get used to.Another drawback… well, with the base being ceramic, you definitely don’t want to accidentally knock it off your countertop.The pole part, on the other hand, is constructed of enameled metal. I chose the white pole option, but the black was a close second choice. Also, if you have gold accents in your kitchen already, the gold on white option looks very rich and luxe.My overall impression: this is a quality paper towel holder at a great price. It easily holds my family-size rolls and looks good doing it!

Sturdy and Elegant
This paper towel holder looks great and works great.It’s very easy to set up, everything screws together in under 5 minutes. The paper towel holder works well. The base is heavy enough that it doesn’t slide around easily when you pull paper towels. It comes with adhesive foam feet so the base doesn’t scratch your countertop. The round base with the lip keeps paper towels from coming unraveled, keeps the edges off the counter, and protects the paper from any spills.The design with the angled ceramic is both pretty and neutral so it fits well with most decor.The only thing that’s doesn’t work well is that the lip of the base is just barely large enough to hold Bounty paper towel rolls, so the roll doesn’t spin easily when you have a new roll on.But overall it’s a very pretty and functional paper towel holder and I’d recommend it.

Stylish and Sturdy but not stainless steel metal...
The ceramic base gives it just the right amount of weight so it doesn’t tip or slide when I grab a sheet. It easily fits the big double rolls - i've seen some of the other reviews that say it fits tight with bigger rolls...this is true but honestly i like this feature as it keeps it from unrolling. I’ve had other holders that rust or get grimy on the bottom because they sit on the counter surface but this one has little pads that you add to make it sit just above the counter surface. The only thing i'm concerned about is how well the metal will last because of wet hands touching it. It doesn't say "stainless steel" so we'll have to see in a few weeks how the water effects the metal surface. Overall, for something that should stay mostly out of sight, it has just the right "curb appeal" and elegance.

Attractive Simple Design
This paper towel holder is simple in design but very attractive. The size and design of this holder will accommodate rolls sized from standard to family double rolls. The nicely weighted ceramic base with the non slip pads on the bottom prevents the holder from sliding or tipping when pulling towels off the roll. I found that unlike other holders I have used in the past, that the raised edge design of the base also helps prevent the towels from unrolling. Overall this is a nicely made attractive paper towel holder.
