Excellent glass food storage container for freezer
I bought this 27.5-cup food container to keep in my freezer for large-batch cooking. I usually cook once or twice a week and make a large amount of food, then store it in different containers and reheat it later. As an Indian descent, our cooking takes a lot of time and effort, so storing food for up to a month in the refrigerator and reheating it in the microwave is a great strategy for saving time. It’s really BIG.
So bought this because I think I needed a large glass air tight container, but when I open the box I was surprised how BIG this thing were; I was NOT expecting how big it was, anyway, here’s the breakdown;Pro; VERY BIG; this container can fit one of those Costco $5.00 chicken easily!!! ( my plan was to use for the Costco lamb which I always get, but now I can use for those chicken too, didn’t came with nothing fancy, just a simple pastic wrap with a box designed to protect the glass unit itself, also the lid, the glass seems to be quite thick, good durability, not sure about leak proof since I didn’t put it up side down yet, has the basic handle thing in the mid middle which is standard for air tight container nowadays, functionality is able to hold a lot of food, so is good for large amount of leftovers, fir me; I think the value is reasonable as it’s BIG.Con; nothing negative yet.Conclusion; ifAnd if it were on sale one day; around $25.00 I will definitely buy another one, but T current price, I will NOT unless I really needed
