I wanted a small set to replace my teflon. This fit the bill without breaking the bank. The added utensils were a plus. Clean up has been easy & they do well in the dishwasher. They aren't the thickest bottoms, and a silicone handle would have been nice. Just have your hot pads ready. I'm very happy with this purchase, perfect for everyday use.

Nice set, heavy gauge, with all you need.

I was very pleased with this cookware set! The box contains all you need to get started. They even include a matching spatula, tongs and whisk, as well as two hot plates. They also include a strainer that fits into one of the deeper stock pots. Good for boiling and draining things like pasta for example.The pieces are heavy gauge/weight and a good size. They’re not oversized, but big enough for my purposes.I really like the simplicity of the set, and that they’re made of stainless steel. This makes them very easy to cook with and easy to clean properly, without the fear of scratching off a coating. I really dislike coated non stick cookware, and have never used them personally, so this set was ideal for me. The set is well made, and I can see them lasting a lifetime if cared for properly.I don’t have an induction stovetop, but it’s nice to know they can be used that way. I can’t comment on how they would perform on that.The pot and pan lids are made of a good quality glass with vent holes. Love that!As for performance, they worked better than expected. I have no complaints. Food cooked evenly and didn’t burn or stick (though I do use some oil in my cooking).I have no complaints! This is a great set, at an amazing price point. I would highly recommend giving them a try. Very happy.

Good quality and pretty but kind of thin and small

I ordered this Vvwgkpk Stainless Steel Pots and Pans Set, 14 Pieces with Steamer to replace an old set that I needed to retire. I opted for a stainless steel set because sets with non-stick coating have peeled overtime in the past and made me concerned about toxicity. To begin, this set is beautiful. The pieces have a highly polished mirror finish that makes me want to display them on a hanging ceiling pot rack instead of hiding them in a cabinet. The glass lids are equally pleasing to the eye. While pretty, the stainless steel is not as thick as I expected and the pots and pans are smaller and lighter overall than other similar sets. Yet, I am pleased with the heating and cooking performance so far, and the smaller pieces are okay for my household of empty nesters. The pieces heat quickly and evenly and have shown no burning, even at high temperatures on my gas stove. The set is well constructed with handles attached securely, and I expect all the pieces including the extras to be very durable, except the trivets. They are made of a hard plastic that is prone to cracking, based on prior experiences. The utensils are very high quality. The whisk is the most sturdy whisk I have ever owned. I wish I could order another just like it. Overall, if you are not cooking for a big family, I would recommend this set. If your family is big, you probably need to look for larger pots and pans. I still think they rate a 5.

Lightweight so easy to handle

When I first opened the box of this cookware set, I thought the pots were on the small side, which for me was exactly what I was looking for. I have a lot of cookware and most of the pots are big to extra large sizes and small sizes as well. I have been looking for more pots in the medium size range for a while. So, yes, these are a perfect addition to my collection. The other thought I had was these are not as heavy a construction as my other cookware. They seem to be made of thinner stainless. I really was not so sure they would perform as well as my other heavier pots and pans. Well, so far, I have used the 3.8Qt pan on my glass cooktop. I made homemade french fries which I had previously blanched and put in the freezer. The oil heated evenly, didn't burn, and the frozen fries came out perfectly browned and crispy. So the last thing I was afraid of was how the pan would burn on the bottom because it was a thinner material, and how well it would clean up. I have to say, the pan didn't urn at all and cleaned up like it was never used for cooking. So I must say, so far the set is a very nice addition to my cookware. Once I use the whole set for a period of time, we shall see about the durability and ease of cleaning.
