    Extends life of my 20 year old KitchenAid.

    Items arrived super fast and in good condition. I got it right on time to refurbish my 20 year old KitchenAid mixer that is used intensively in my household. I watched a few videos on YouTube to educate myself how to properly replace worn gear, it is an easy but a bit dirty job, so a pair of rubber gloves and a shop towel is handy since the gear inside the mixes is all greasy and messy. I cleaned everything using some kerosene, replaced the gear and packed it with some fresh grease that I use to service break calipers - it is thick and suitable for high temperature applications. I am not sure how hot this gear gets when working hard mixing dough and stuff - I used it just in case. When doing this job make sure you keep the old metal secure pin that holds gear on the shaft - the new gears come without replacement pin. Mixer is now running noticeably quieter with no jerking at high load. Set comes with 3 gears, but only one goes for replacement now, the other two stays as spares. Great value for money, pretty happy with the purchase.
