Sizes hold true. I can never find gloves or watch bands to fit; too small, even xl or xxl.. I ordered xxl and these fit great, not much extra but great fit without being tight.After using these, they also function well too; boiling hot water had no impact. When wet, the fingers are slippery rubbing against each other but grip on pan or glass is like Spider-Man, no slippage.
I love these, they are great for grilling, baking, handling hot foods.
These are absolutely a great Mitt. I chose the small/8 and they fit perfectly. I were and 8 shoe so I generally go by foot size for my gloves. Baking is something that is so enjoyable except when you burn your hands because they are not fully protected. This glove gives you full protection yet full mobility of your hands. I'd definitely buy these for a gift too!
I have tried a couple of pairs and these fit the best and are insulated really good to protect hand wells for normal use of removing pans from the oven. Would definitely recommend
I got these to replace some oven mitts I have been using. I was looking for something that looked good and fit well and most importantly would protect me from the heat ( it does cold too , bonus).They came packed in a box and didn't smell or anything upon removing them. I washed mine anyway before using for food stuff though. I found that while washing them, that when water is on the gloves it provides just enough of a barrier between the two it is like butter on an ice rink. They slip right by each other. No friction at all with the right amount of water.I wanted all white gloves. Other than the logo these are all white. The trim at the top around the hole was white on mine (yay!) even though the picture for the size (medium/8) I got was blue or green looking.I found them to look like modern option for cooking and baking that would look good on any lady which is why I got them. They are so cool looking am feel very interesting as the surface is rather sticky in a way when they are dry(glove on glove). Ironically the sticky nature makes it impossible to slide a tray of cookies out of your hands on to a cooling rack. I was baking bread and found that it was so sticky I almost dropped (oh no!) what I was carrying because I wanted to let it go and it was still sticking to the pan. So, it depends on what you are going to use it for and you need to know the nature of the materials before just going about your business expecting it to perform like something else. Whoops.The exterior was a clear coat on top of a white glove fabric. Which by the way( not seamless) pictures of this show seams inside. Not sure what part is supposed to be seamless but not the inside. The gloves themselves seem to be of a good overall quality though.I found that the gloves fit me sort of, because the palm area had a little extra room side to side, the finger tips were all too long and I had extra room (too much) in all of them. My biggest gripe was the lining. It was difficult to get on and found myself stressing about getting them on and off in time while baking and doing other things. Seems silly but it took work to get the lining to fit my hand and like many snow gloves the lining is not quite attached to the outer part, so it moves separately at least to a point. I had to fix the gloves every time I tried to put them on. The other problem for me was that the amount of material that was in between my fingers at the base of each finger on the gloves was so thick that I found it uncomfortable enough to be almost painful. I can't imagine wearing these for very long.I didn't try the cold aftery other experiences with them I gave up on them. But I did find that the heat protection was good to a point. I was using a 400°f oven for baking and it was easy to remove something without noticing the heat at first. The gloves got hotter and then seemed to retain the heat and get hotter briefly almost too hot( like ouch). Given the nature of donning and removing them it was another negative on my list.Forget throwing your gloves on to rush when the timer is going off. Better just grab a towel or something like they do in the movies.I thought the idea was so cool and they look the part but they are not comfortable enough to fit my needs. I saw some people suggested a larger size but I believe that would have just made some of those issues worse.(My palm width and middle finger measurements are both about 3.25 " with finger nails. So I am sticking with the old mitts I have for now.When I first got them put and tried them on I honestly felt like a cartoon character for some reason. Don't know why but it is just the feeling I had. 🤣
Perfect for baking sourdough in 450F oven. I use two ceramic loaf pans to make the Dutch oven effect. The handles line up flat so it has always been hard to remove the lid halfway during baking because my mitts couldn’t get a grip on the smooth surface. These silicone gloves gave me the grip I needed to quickly take the lid off and return to baking. The flaw is that they do eventually heat through. You’ve got about 3 minutes to work before getting burnt.
these are good. they fit my small hands and fit and bend without the bulkiness of others would buy again. size 8 and like i said my hands are small.
