Practical Addition to a Busy Space

I ended up liking this more than I expected. At first, I bought it thinking I would mount it in the garage, but once I had it in hand, I realized it would actually be a great fit in the laundry room too. I went with that option and it instantly helped me feel like I had gained a bit of extra space. The shelf is useful and the overall piece feels solid once installed. I did choose to use my own screws which were slightly larger, but that was a personal choice and it did not take away from the overall function or quality.What I appreciate most is that it does not feel flimsy. The material has a clean finish and holds up well even in a room that gets a lot of humidity. The design is modern but not flashy, so it blends in easily without drawing too much attention. Whether I use it for paper towels or small items on the shelf, everything stays in place and accessible.If you need a towel holder that can do more than one thing and still look good, this is a solid option. It works well in different rooms and gives you the choice of how you want to mount it. I would definitely consider getting another one for the garage after all.

Nice shelf. Big enough to hold several items but small enough to not overwhelm the space.

I love this shelf! It’s well made and roomy enough to hold several things freeing up counter space yet it’s sleek enough that it doesn’t overwhelm the space. The chrome finish didn’t work in my space so I grabbed some spray paint and easily changed the color. The paper towel bar has a set screw so I loosely set it in place to paint the shelf and bar. Afterwards I firmly inserted the bar and tightened the screw. The shelf came with covers for the screw ends so you won’t see the screws at all once the covers are set in place. This shelf is well made and definitely worth the cost. I’d buy another one if the need arises.

Cheap, Effective

I got this to replace my previous holder, which snapped at the rod.I love the space saving shelf aspect of this one, however I don't love the construction. 1, don't even think about using the adhesive to mount it. Even with a cleaned off surface prepped with alcohol, it would not stay for long as soon as I added things to the shelf.Mounting it was easy and it's a nice solid build. Not too heavy and adds an elegant touch to my bathroom. I do wish the rod was thicker so that as the roll gets thinner, it doesn't just roll around, but for the price, this is a great two-for-1.

Weak and poor design

This isn't going to last long. The materials themselves are attractive and strong but the construction is poor. The towel rod is connected to the mount by two screws. They were loose when it arrived and had to be tightened but they wouldn't tighten securely. I can see this loosening with the pull on each towel to the point where you have to take the rack off the wall each time they need to be tightened. Bad design. Also, the mounting screws were really cheap and stripped with the installation. I substituted my own screws. The shelf on this rack is a nice touch but overall I think one can do better.

This is made from aluminum, NOT stainless steel!

Okay, first off the listing originally had stated this as made from 304 stainless steel. I'm happy that's been corrected. This is most definitely made from aluminum - it's far too light for stainless and magnets will not stick to it. Aluminum is a softer material than stainless so that's something to keep in mind as you're deciding where to place this in your home.I originally ordered this for use in my workshop as a tape roll holder and right out of the box I discovered that the bar under the shelf can be removed just by removing two screws, which is actually a bonus for me as I can mount the bar directly to my workbench for holding either tape rolls or paper towels (both of which I use frequently in my work) and mount the shelf elsewhere. For me that's a plus. There are also a package of drywall screws included for mounting, but oddly, no adhesive anything that this listing says this has is included and nowhere to be found in the box.I'm pretty happy with this little shelf and will be using it but I simply cannot give five stars here - what the listing says this is made of and what it actually is made of are two properly different metals that are both useful but hardly interchangeable. I thought I was ordering stainless steel. I got aluminum. I am also low key wondering where or even what this adhesive is. Personally I won't need it, but it was mentioned and it simply wasn't in the box.
