This is a nice wok that won’t break the bank. It is pretty well made and has held up nicely so far. It is very easy to use but also to clean. While you can tell this isn’t a very expensive wok, the nice touch like the wooden handle, make for a perfectly fine pan. 4/5 would recommend.

This is my first wok after watching a lot of Asian cooking videos, so I was excited to give it a try and make stir-fry the right way. The wok gives a good impression right out of the box, heavy and sturdy and well-constructed, and looks great. It comes with a few useful accessories also, which I appreciate.This is a round-bottom wok, so you'll need an alternative to a flat-top stove in order to use it. In my case, I have a propane stove on my back patio, and this worked great with it. Seasoning takes a bit of time -- but this was my first time doing anything like it, so I assume it gets easier the more you do it -- but after that prep, cooking is fast and simple. My boyfriend and I made beef stir-fry and it tasted amazing. The whole process was a bit messy (again, probably just a matter of experience) so I'm glad we did it on my back patio rather than in my tiny kitchen.Cleaning is surprisingly easy, just scrub the pan with hot water using the bristle brush that came in the box (NO dish soap). The instruction booklet has everything you need for every step of the way, so don't worry if this is your first wok. It's very beginner-friendly as long as you slow down to read the instructions.If you're looking specifically for a wok pan, I definitely recommend this one. It seems well-made and I think it will last me a good while, so it's a great value for the price.
This is my very first Wok purchase, so I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I’ve been pleasantly surprised. The wok itself is heavy duty and feels well made. It even came with a few accessories, including ladles and a cleaning brush which have been very useful. I love the long handle which keeps me at a distance from the high temps of the stove.The instructions were straightforward.Just wash, dry, season, and it’s ready to go. Since I have a glass top stove, I haven’t been able to use it in my own kitchen, but I’ve cooked with it on a family member's gas stove and it works beautifully. So far, I’ve made Pad Thai, fried rice, eggs, and stir fry, and everything has turned out delicious.If you’re new to cooking with a wok, this is a great starter option that feels high quality, heavy, but easy to handle and overall is just a nice looking wok. Just keep in mind that it’s best suited for gas stoves rather than glass tops.
This appears to be a really good wok. I'm not an expert and don't cook chinese food often but have used those "wok-like" pans with flat bottoms and they just don't do the job.This is a round bottom authentic iron wok. You will need to season it and will likely need to get a wok rack for it to sit stable over your stove burner. It comes with a set of starter utensils which is a nice extra, and they are good quality as well.I found it to be a little heavy when trying to shake the food around in it the way I see them do in the chinese restaurant but my shrimp fried rice came out pretty authentic.The rack I bought makes it sit a little high on the burner so I had to have the burner turned to the highest flame in order to get it hot and keep it hot during cooking.I like that it has a nice long wooden handle that prevents you from getting burned easily.The only issue I have is that it's awkward to store because of the size and shape. It would be best suited for a pot rack or hook where you can hang it. If you plan to store it in a cabinet it will take up a lot of real estate.I think this will last forever and likely be passed down to my daughter when I'm gone.
This iron wok came packaged with great care, which I appreciated right away. It feels solid and well-constructed—definitely heavier than a typical wok, which adds to its durability but also makes it a bit more challenging to maneuver.So far, I’ve only seasoned it once and used it a couple of times. Like most iron woks, it will need continued seasoning over time to develop a truly non-stick surface, but that’s expected.It conducts heat evenly, which made cooking efficient. However, it didn’t sit flat on my gas burner stove, so I’ll likely need to get a wok ring (as another reviewer suggested) for better stability.Overall, a promising piece of cookware that just needs the right setup and a bit of patience to get the most out of it.
