Excellent heat retention, perfect for everyday stir-fry

This wok exceeded my expectations. The flat bottom sits very securely on my gas stove, and it heats up quickly and evenly, which makes stir-frying incredibly efficient. Once properly seasoned, the surface becomes naturally non-stick and food releases easily with very little oil.The iron material holds heat extremely well, so vegetables stay crisp and meats get a great sear without steaming. The size is ideal for everyday cooking and large enough for family portions but still easy to handle. The handle feels sturdy and well-balanced, making it comfortable to toss food while cooking.I also appreciate that it’s a traditional iron wok with no chemical coating, which gives me peace of mind. After a few uses, the wok develops a beautiful patina and performs even better.

This Wok Rocks!

LOVE THIS WOK!Cooking asian food for one is a challenge. I hated pulling out my full sized wok and trying to cook a single serving in it.This WOK ROCKS. Was a breeze to "season" and holds the seasoning very well. Just a quick rinse and wipe out while it is still hot.The wok is not too heavy, but it heats up quickly and evenly. I cook on an open burner gas stove and I remove the burned ring and set the wok directly in the burner bowl. Wok hei achieved. The bowl of the wok is just the right size for 1-2 servings, easy to clean, low maintenance and actually quite pretty. (I leave it out on my stove all the time now.) The handle is comfortable and well attached. I expect to enjoy this beauty for many years to come.If you are looking for a real work of art, that is also totally practical, this wok rocks. It's not cheap, but you get what you pay for and it is well worth the $$.The spatula and the cleaning cloth that came with it are a nice touch too.

perfect size, good quality!

My wife say it too heavy to use, but I don’t care, because I cook 90%, I love it.

Very well made

This is my first serious foray into cooking with a wok. I wanted something on the smaller side for one or two people and this wok seemed to fit the bill. I really like this little “wok” although I wish that the sides were a little more sloped. The wok itself is very well made and is quite solid with a nice hammered texture on the inside. It comes with a nicely made ladle, wood lid, sponge and cloth. I followed the seasoning instructions (easy) and used it last night and was delighted with the results. Because it is cast iron it holds and distributes heat very well.

Excellent Everyday Wok

It has been great to cook with. It heats quickly, holds heat well, and becomes naturally nonstick after a few uses. The wooden handle feels sturdy, and the glass lid is a nice bonus. Works perfectly on my stovetop and has become my go‑to pan for stir‑fries and quick meals.

Looks Nice but Cooking Performance is Poor

I was excited to try this wok, but unfortunately it hasn’t worked out for me. The first time I used it, everything stuck badly to the surface—even just scrambling eggs was a disaster (see photo). The material feels sturdy, but it doesn’t seem seasoned or nonstick at all, and food clings immediately. Cleaning it afterward was also a struggle.Maybe it requires extra seasoning or a special cooking technique, but compared to other carbon steel or nonstick pans I own, this one just didn’t perform well. Overall, not satisfied with the purchase.
