Awesome brushes, sturdy, work well
I use these brushes when cooking with cast iron and stainless steel. I'm often cooking items such as pancakes and cheelas, where I need to oil the pan quickly between brushes. I'm usually cooking at a pretty high temp and nylon just can't hold up to it. These brushes apply the oil smoothly, hold a good amount, and hold up to the higher temps. They also clean well, whether by hand or in the dishwasher. They also don't seem to pick up the dishwasher soap as some of my other silicone does.I'm very happy with the quality and performance of these brushes, and I would buy them again.

They are so easy to clean and great to use
They are so easy to clean and great to use! I got them for my daughter because she loves to be in the kitchen, and has been wanting one for a while now. She really wanted a one peace brush instead of a multiple piece one because water gets into the cracks and crevices and then either leaks out while in use or begins some interior molding :( She loves the colors and the amount of liquid/ brushing sauce the bristles can hold. Their design has nice soft bristles good for delicate things like a pastry, or for a hardy chicken drumstick.

Quality at the best price
I paid almost as much for one of these locally---and then came home from the cottage without it. This four pack of heavy duty brushes arrived quickly and saved the day. It's cookout season! From spreading sauce on homemade pizza to basting kabobs to brushing olive oil on baguettes for bruschetta, they're handy little kitchen helpers. Small but works well
The head of the brushes are smaller than anticipated, the handles are nice and long. They work well for brushing on oil, bitter, bbq sauce, etc. the brushes clean up well. They hold up well in the dishwasher too.

No problem with bristles coming out of these brushes when spreading butter on the top of hot rolls.
With the holiday season coming I will be doing a lot of cooking and baking and having this set of 4 silicone baking brushes will help out a lot. For baking I will use them to apply frosting on top of rolls and pastries. I’ll be able to use them to brush herb butter on hot rolls fresh from the oven. Mmmm, I can almost smell the rosemary chicken as I use a brush to baste the top of the chicken as it is cooking. I had grown tired of bristles coming out of my old basting brush, a problem I won’t have with these food grade silicone brushes. Having four of them will be really handy during the busy holiday cooking and baking days.

Good quality, great for baking
I grew tired of finding brush bristles on my food and in my marinade after using my old pastry brush, so I ordered this set and threw out my old ones. These brushes are soft enough to use on delicate pastry such as phyllo, but also work well when brushing marinades onto meat or basting rolls with butter. The bristles hold liquid well, don’t drip like regular brushes, and wash easily. I don’t have a dishwasher, so I rinse with hot water and then wash in the sink with the rest of my utensils, and they clean right up. They are more sanitary than the brushes with wood or plastic handles that get gunked up around the base of the bristles (those are so hard to clean!), and are nice bright colors. I would like the handles to be a little longer for grilling, but I use these mostly for indoor cooking and baking, so they are working well for me. Other reviewers have mentioned that they were unhappy about the packaging, but that has nothing to do with the quality of this product, so 5 stars from me.

Multiple uses
I use basting brushes all the time with my baking. I like to use more than one for egg wash and for spreading cooking spray in the crevices of pans. These are perfect and so easy to wash. I like them much better than bristle basting brushes and feel I can get them much cleaner. The different colors make it easy to distinguish which brush is used for what.
