An absolute buy. These warmers are great!Just purchased and used for my Division’s potluck… not kidding, received 5-6 compliments, two from guys that never really cook food to bring, just buy it. We were able to put four 9x13 trays using the two mats, with a little room to spare. We put the food on there already warm/hot and it kept the temperature for 3 hours.An EXCELLENT buy and would highly recommend for a gift for any friends that are foodies/enjoy cooking like I do.Two of the ladies at work already ordered them for Christmas. No instructions with product, but not too difficult to figure out . I liked the feature that you could link these together for power source instead of 2 plugs needed. The link plug, unfortunately has a screw on cover so if you are to use it as probably intended for safety purposes, you would need to unscrew the cap each time. There is also a on/off switch on the side. I thought it was a breaker, but I think it is just on off for power to the link connection. You can leave the cover off and leave the switch off if only using one mat. I am sure it is a safety requirement as someone could power it on with the exposed connections and a child could put their finger or tongue o the connections which would be 120v. So I guess it is safer to have it as screwdriver to remove it vs an easy twist or something.There are numbers heat settings which I think cover the bases good.The heat strips / elements are about 1 " from the sides and 2 inches to the ends. I would like this closer, but For an average pan, I think this will be good.I think it would be good to put low setting and set your pizza box on it to keep pizza warm.I read a review that it cracked a counter top, but there were no specifics such as was it a cold stone countertop and the heat was set at high, or an old Formica countertop.Roll up cords are attached which is nice.
