Easy, effective, and portable. I was worried that the warming tray may not work well, but I pleased to confirm it works very well. Because you can roll it up and transportation is very easy. It does not use a great deal of power. Also, I can fit a lot of dishes on the mat to keep warm. I have used the mat for holiday dinners, potluck, and parties. I also like that is will cool quickly to pack up and move on back home.
This warming mat works exactly as described. It heats up quick and the heat is uniform across the surface of the mat. Rapid, full surface, even heating. It has an automatic shut off after 4 hours. It comes with an isntruction manual, but it is really so easy to use, just plug it in and turn it on. It has an on/off button and you can toggle between the three heat levels by tapping on the setting button. It is made of thick, durable silicone. I love that it frees up the stove and oven when prepping multiple dishes. The heating surface is good sized. Plenty of room for large pans or several smaller pans. This mat makes it convienent and efficient for preparing meals as well as keeping foods and hor d’eurves heated at a set temperature. This is great for use at buffets, parties, events, celebrations, and other various gatherings to keep your dishes at a safe temperature. I like this way better than my chafing dishes as chafing dishes can heat inconsistently with hot and cold spots. This mat does not, the heat is consistent across the entire surface. I also like that it doesn’t require sterno or and open flame. The 1/4" nubs on the bottom of the mat keep the heat of the mat from touching the tabletop. It’s very easy to wipe down and clean up any messes left on it. It easily rolls up for space saving storage and lightweight for easy transport. It comes with instructions, a long power cord, as well as a velcro strap, and storage bag to keep everythign together. I am very happy with this heating mat.
Great warming tray for keeping snacks warm during my daughter’s grad party. It wraps up and comes with a nice bag for easy storage. Definitely recommend.
First used this warming mat at Thanksgiving, when it really came in handy. Kept the mashed potatoes and green beans at a good temperature throughout our meal. Easy to store; will be using it often.
These are great warmers to use when serving food. They haven’t damaged anything so far - we used them on plastic tables. Put aluminum trays and cookie sheets on them. Easy to assemble and fold up for storage. Worth the investment!
This came in handy last Christmas when I hosted my first holiday dinner. Kept dishes hot. Will use it every year. Great to keep ok hand.
It works really well and the fact that it's portable is a bonus. CAUTION: I used it on my Corian countertop and the heat caused it to crack. Fortunately, when it cooled off, the gap closed and the crack is not visible. I would suggest using it on a large cutting board or on several place mats.
