After the review below, the company contacted me to make sure that I received a working replacement. It was very appreciated.Cover is cracked and broken, screen is broken, scale plate is dented. Batteries were inserted already. It appears to have been used.It cant be returned but I can't find a way to get a replacement or refund.

Nice mini scale for pourovers, bright backlit screen, some concerns
It's not a bad little mini scale for only about 15 bucks. It weighs quicker than a cheaper 9 dollar scale I have, and is on par with another 40'ish dollar in terms of speed. It also has an icon that seems to turn on/off to indicate that it's still calculating weight or finished.The controls are simple, on/off, Mode to swap weighing metrics (Grams or ounces), tare button to zero out the scale so the measuring vessel us excluded from the weight, and timer with start, pause, reset. The buttons take a bit of a press, though have a nice click to them.I wish the timer had a way to resume from where you left off after pausing. Unpausing just clear/resets the timer and doesn't allow you to continue.The scale has a nice clamshell to keep it relatively clean between uses, and easily detaches to get it out of the way. I worry that the hinge on she shell could break though, and the shell does not quite have enough gap to store the silicon anti-slip/heat cover inside and still seal 100% flush with the scale.The scale does not appear to be very water resistant. I'm not about to test how water resistant it may or may not be, though I suspect one good spill or leak could ruin it if the liquid goes under the measuring platform or into the buttons.The screen is surprisingly bright and very clear. I wish I could hold down the power button to dim it and save battery, I worry it will drain the AAA batteries faster.The included spray bottle for anti-static is actually pretty nice despite being a cheap pack-in bonus. Im not so sure the sprayer part will last long, though the bottle portion feels surprisingly sturdy and dwarves my other anti-static bottle by far, with a huge capacity. The spray cone is about 40 degrees, more than enough to cover the average bean dosing vessel.The included dosing vessel is just cheap green plastic. It's got a bit of flex to it, and doesn't seem well designed. It looks pretty, but I couldn't pour the beans into into my widest hand grinder without spilling a about a gram of the beans onto the table.All things considered, the scale itself seems fairly priced for it's features and form fact at about 15 bucks, though I wouldn't let the spray bottle and vessel be the deciding factor to get this over another scale.

It has a little silicone mat as well. Unfortunately the silicone mat doesn't fit inside the case for the scale. That would be an improvement to be able to keep everything together. That's not the case though, as now I have to track the mat as well. The digital pocket coffee scale has a built-in timer. It's a worthy little scale for the price. I would buy again.
