Nice heavyweight baking pans! Great for gluten free baking!

Bought 2 of these pans to either bake 2 loaves at once or clip together with office clips for domed baker. This worked well to create steam for good oven rise and crispy crust for both gluten free and regular sourdough loaves. The narrower 4” width and heavy weight enameled bakeware especially provide structure for the bread to rise with gluten free baking.

A Great Enameled Pan - Just Like Grandma Used to Use!

A nice addition to my loaf pans; it is approximately 1.5 times of a regular loaf pan. I initially tried it with a double batch of banana bread; I used about 1.5X the batter as I didn’t want it to overflow in the oven. It turned out nicely, it took less time to cook so be sure to watch it when you bake with it the first time. It was a really easy clean up, the banana bread came right out intact and was evenly browned on the bottom of the loaf. I will be interested to see what other items I could bake; next time, I am thinking an 8 x 8 brownie mix; and then put in this, so that each “slice” would have the yummy and chewy edges!
