Works left handed, versatile as household scissors
So far so good. I’m left handed and don’t have any particular complaints to do with the handedness of these scissors so I guess that’s good. This is what I think after about a cumulative 50 hours as ad hoc garden shears: they don’t fatigue my hand during long periods of use, easy to clean, adjustable tension is nice, cuts cleanly, and staying sharp so far.I got these to have a dedicated pair of scissors for the garden, so I didn’t have to keep taking the “real” kitchen shears out of the kitchen and bringing them in and out, or forgetting them with the rest of my tools. These are just really nice scissors just for basic household use too, and of course I think they’re doing great in the yard. And now I’m buying another pair for the house. They’re especially handy for cutting up plastic clamshell containers so they’re not so bulky in the recycling bin.I like that they’re not super heavy. You can adjust the tension although I have it how I like it just finger-tightening it. I’ve had this pair for about a month so while that’s not very long, they’re still sharp and I’ve been using them intensively albeit not with super hard materials. They’re comfortable for me to make lots of sequential cuts out in the yard. Perfect for tender stems to slightly woodier, say new growth on shrubs. Mostly I’ve been using them to pick herbs, remove spent flowers that I don’t want to go to seed, collecting seed heads, etc.
