    So glad I decided to purchase this blade which included the tool: with the tool thjs took me less than a minute to take the old blade out , replace with the new blade and tighten. And it all works great. Plus having the tool to remove the blade finally allowed me to clean out the “grunge” on the bottom of the container.Note I used this on the 32oz container and it fit perfectly! No leaks or wobbles. Blade likely isn’t quite as sharp as the original but still is fine for smoothies with ice

    Great replacement for OEM product

    The seal on my 13-year old Vitamix started leaking. The entire container replacement isn’t cheap. I found this and thought I’d give it a try before spending money on a new container. It arrived and I had it installed in less than 10 minutes. It didn’t have instructions, but really didn’t need them. It’s pretty straight forward. The wrench that’s included is a HUGE help. I wish I had sharpened the blade before installing, but it still works good. I made sure to wash it well before using.

    Did not fit my VM0103 Blender, but read on...

    With a little ingenuity, I was able to fix my blender!I have a Creations ll VM0103 Vitamix and the blade assembly rusted from the inside & would no longer turn, so I needed to replace it. Even though my model was listed here, the threaded shank was too short, so I boxed it up for return. I scoured Amazon and the Vitamix website, and could not find my part number, but I ordered another model that had the same number of threads and appeared to have the same shank ht as mine. When I got it, the blades were way too big for my container, but with a ratchet and a vise (you could probably use a vise grip if you don't have an actual vise) and a rag to protect the threads, I was able to loosen the top nut and replace the new large blade with my old perfectly usable blade, onto the new shank assembly. I still hadn't returned the original set, so I used the included wrench to install the wet blade into the blender container. This wrench will go back in the box and be returned with the rest of the set. No qualms. The blade was supposed to fit, but it did not.But now I have a repaired blender for the price of $25! Much better than the $200 estimate and the need to ship my blender to Vitamix!

    Saved a ton of money

    Worked perfectly - fixing my blender VS buying a new one saved a TON of money. This came with the new gear, blade and bearing for the pitcher as well as a new gear for the motor. I didn’t replace motor gear - works great. The special wrench is nice too
