Makes Good Crisp Corn Tortilla Tacos using oven baking
These corn tortilla taco forms are high quality made with non-magnetic Stainless Steel. The workmanship is superlative with high Quality Control standards. All the forms were shaped and finished perfectly with no sharp edges. These forms make flat bottoms tacos if you use them correctly. One of the reviewers unfairly complained that these forms did not work because the raw corn tortillas cracked when placed in the forms. Whether you are standing in the grocery store, or you are standing in your own kitchen, right next to this taco former, any cold raw corn tortilla will crack if you bend it sharply. I warm up the stiff fragile raw corn tortillas by dipping them in warm oil. Then they bend and shape very easily without cracking. I use one form on the bottom and one form on the top and bake in the oven on a cookie sheet. I know I am using a lot of high calorie oil baking the taco shells this way, but I don’t have to use the deep fat fryer and get oil smoke all over my house. I get nicely formed flat bottom crispy taco shells. I use a lecithin based non-stick cooking spray to help with clean up. Do not be tricked by using an Olive Oil based lecithin non-stick cooking spray. Olive Oil burns at a much lower temperature than does Peanut Oil, Corn Oil, Soy Bean Oil, or Canola Oil. I let the parts cool down to room temperature and soak them in soapy dishwater. The parts come perfectly clean without tedious scrubbing. I believe in letting the soapy dishwater soak do all the work. I have friends who have ruined pans by insisting on immediate harsh scrubbing instead of letting a soapy dishwater soak do all the work.

The best taco holders!
These taco holders are perfect. A lot of available products have too sharp of an angle at the bottom of the holder to accommodate wide-bottomed tacos (whether that be over-filled soft tacos, or the stand-and-serve hard shells). These holders work for every imaginable taco, lettuce wrap, etc. The simple metal design is simple to clean--they usually honestly just need a rinse, but if they do require actual cleaning they're simple to wash by hand or throw in the dishwasher. They're attractive in their simplicity--they work for even formally plated meals. (And what better formal meal than a taco meal?!?!?) I bought some of these years ago and (somehow) lost one; I purchased another 4 pack immediately. I couldn't recommend them more!

Perfect for Taco Tuesday
These have really upped our Taco Tuesday game. They are a bit small for fajita sized shells but work great for street tacos. Depending on which side you use, you can support 2 or 3 tacos. Sometimes we will throw chips in the middle like this.

Make taco night fun!
Makes taco night easier and more fun. The family loves being able to fill and hold their tacos with these taco holders. It saves on waste from falling over tacos. I hand wash these with a soft sponge and dish soap. I am not sure how they would do in the dishwasher and figure they may rust if not hand washed and dried.There is a slight bend in some of them that keeps them from sitting perfectly flat on a plate. I think it is from the metal warping when welded. It is barely noticeable and does not affect the function of these taco holders. They just wobble occasionally on a plate. Not a big deal to me.
