Beautiful and high quality

These mats are both high quality and beautiful! When you first open them out of the plastic, they do have an odor but it goes away quickly. It is more expensive than others on the market but compared to the other mats we tried for my family, this one was definitely the winner! Its leather is soft and smooth and very easy to clean and also quick to dry! If you wipe off quickly, even tomato/olive oil stains will come out. The artwork is vibrant and lovely. My toddler likes to help us put these out for meals! Highly recommended!

Pretty, quality, easy to clean

These placemats are great! I bought 4 different manufacturers' placemats to compare. These are by FAR my favorite. The colors are vibrant and gorgeous with a pretty design (Red Strawberry Thief for me) and the material (a bit spongey and textured) is just right. They are somewhat-rigid but still pliable, not like a board and not like thin material. They are not too thick but enough so that they lay flat and the heat doesn't go through them. I've never put something super-hot on them, like right out of the oven, just warm/hot dishes. Something out of the oven might melt or blister them. I don't know. I've now had them for several months and so far have had no discolorations or fading. I just wipe them off with soap and water. They are a bit more expensive than some other placemats, but the quality is nicer than most and I feel certain they will last a long time. No complaints and I may get a different design at the year's end!

Faux Leather Placemats

I have been using these placemats since I purchased them. I love the fact I only have to wipe them with a damp cloth to clean them. They are a nice size, and the color goes with almost every tablecloth I have. The quality is far better than I had hoped for, and I have used them as a hot pad in a pinch.
