I purchased the 4 oz ladle. It is beautiful, heavy duty, and holds the perfect amount to use for serving soup; 4 oz is a half cup. I don't understand negative reviews based on it being the wrong size; if you don't know what 4 or 2 oz looks like, measure it out before you order! Great product.
this is a great ladle.....worked fine for me in a small electric soup tureen which I used for gravy for a large family party, but it is large for a gravy boat .....more for a gravy BOAT ladle. Pay attention to the dimensions and it will work for you.
This ladle is not for a gravy ladle on the table it is the size for serving from a large pot on the stove It . It arrived in beautil conditon with a lovely patteren, which I like very much.
Weight and high polish rival more expensive brands. Exactly the right size (1 tablespoon) for our purposes.
The bowl of this soup ladle is very small and will not ladle much soup into a bowl.
I appreciate that these are stainless steel as I’ve gravitated away from plastic. BONUS, these are beautiful!
These are very nice ladles, but not good for the purpose for which I bought them. They really aren't designed for dipping straight down, for the handle is at a 45 degree angle from the bowl. They are quality ladles and would dip out wide open containers well, but I purchased them for a candy buffet. Probably more suitable for scooping food or perhaps sauces/dressings. I wish the handles were angled differently, but they are well made and look nice.
