I ordered this, along with the 12" version, to be a drip pan for my Big Green Egg: it fits just right and works great. This thing is thick, sturdy metal and the coating is durable. I have to put it through some heavy scrubbing occasionally to remove burned-on grease and smoke, but it ends up looking fine. Highly recommended for any cooking purpose, but especially for your grill and smoker. I would buy this again, but then it will probably not wear out any time soon.
Amazingly efficient at baking deep dish or thick crust pizzas. Browns beautifully. I didn't have any problem removing the pizzas I've made so far from this pan. I wipe the pan with a light olive oil before putting in the dough round. My thicker pizzas tend to shrink away from the sides of the pan, so removal is not that difficult... lifting one side with a spatula is needed. I'm removing the pizzas for cutting on a board, so I'm not sure how well the pan would hold up cutting with a pizza cutter, which wouldn't cut all the way to the edge anyway because the sides of this pan are very high... 2" or so. Heavy weight... well worth the cash.
Product was advertised as like new, definitely not like new. Stains on the finish along with multiple cut marks in the finish. Also has dents in the bottom.
Uuum when ordering a pan of this size make sure it fits in your oven. I didn't so I ordered a size smaller. My fault!!
My husband had been wanting an anodized aluminum pizza pan, so I ordered this for him for Christmas. We used it for the first time this evening and our pizza came out great, with the crust being perfectly browned and crisp edge-to-edge and everything in between. ! Note to buyers...measure your ovens to make sure this 16" pan will fit. Fortunately, I have two ovens, so though it didn't fit in my upper oven (due to the convection fan), it did fit in my lower oven. Score!!! Now, just need to perfect our pizza crust. We're all happy to taste test for him. :)
I doctor up take and bake pizzas resulting in a very messy oven. Works great
