These are perfect spreaders and are a great lenght. I have a set of older ones that are similar and quickly found out that you should NOT place them in the dishwasher. The wooden handles get ruined. These seem better quality and for the price, I bought two!!!
not too long, not too short. gets the mayo from the bottom of a quart jar easily. Spreads mayo on bread with ease, a definite improvement over a butter knife. I bought 2 .
I didn’t realize how sharp the blade was but it’s very sharp. It is a great size and good quality.

When I was younger I worked the sandwich line in a restaurant complex in lower Manhattan. I have made a custom sandwich every 45 seconds all day long. That is where I learned about this wonderful wonderful knife. There were about 10 of us on the line and every one of us had one of these and nothing else would have done the job. One side for spreading, enough spring to make spreading a real thing, serious serrations on the other side for cutting and splitting. Even if you only make one sandwich a month you will appreciate all the thought that went into crafting this lovely cool.
