good value and durable construction

I use everyday 6 spoons because 3 meals a day are cooked. When i cooked the thanksgiving meal i had 10 dirty spoons that needed to be rewashed. When cooking ground beef for example you need one spoon to move the raw meat around in the pan until it comes up to temp. Then you need to take the spoon you are using and swap in a fresh spoon so you dont cross contaminate as you cook the dish with the dirty meat spoon. If you are cooking correctly you would use a lot of spoons. The metal is thick and the spoon is durable. You cant go wrong with using these spoons so stock up on them.

Handle is uncomfortable to hold because the edges are thin and rough; not enough to draw blood, but close. Spoon seems somewhat flimsy. Digging into something semi-frozen might lead you to bend it. Still, the size is right and I find myself reaching for it instead of the nicer, but longer, spoons that I have. I boosted my rating after using this for a few months; I might even buy a few more.

Inexpensive but not cheap.

Great metal spoon purchased to replace our wimpy plastic junk. I bought the 11” and 13” models and after working with both I recommend going with the 13”. They both work great and are plenty stiff, but the 13” gets your hands just a little bit further away from the heat and can dig a little deeper. Stainless steel, stamped “made in India” on the back of the handle. Stands up to use, abuse, and the dishwasher.
