A Great Dual Probe Thermometer
This pair of thermometers are outstanding! I've been looking for a completely wireless multiple probe thermometer system and this fits the bill, especially since they are Bluetooth AND Wifi!The packaging was nothing spectacular, but everything arrived in tact with no damages. It comes with the main housing block, 2 probes, charging cable, and info booklets. The app was very easy to download and navigate. One of the awesome things I love about this pair of thermometers is that there is one long probe and one short probe. This is great if there are different cut sizes that need to be monitored. I've already used this for a large and small cut of steak and also for different areas of one larger cut (brisket). It worked great!The accuracy of these probes was spot on. The first thing I did was to put both into ice water and they were spot on to where they should be. There was not too bad of a lag in the temperatures monitored in the app either, so I wasn't worried that the meat would be further along in cooking before the probes picked up and transmitted the temps via the app.The app is easy to navigate and holds a very stable connection vie either Bluetooth or Wifi. I love the fact that I can monitor my cooks even if I am not at home! I haven't lost connection at all during any of my cooks which is great peace of mind. Battery life is great on these! I've done a few short cooks and a couple very long cooks and have made it through all of them with no batter life problem! I like the options and customizability in the app, the ability to look at cooking trends to help plan future cooks.All around I would definitively recommend this dual probe block. It's accurate, consistent, well connected, and very easy to navigate.
