Perfect Coaster for all types of cups and beverages
I can't believe I didn't search for these earlier. I have a leather-topped desk, and these coasters slide beautifully across it without gripping, snagging, or leaving marks. The top side has a little wooden lip so your beverage container won't move off the circle. The pad on the top side absorbs too. I'm tossing out some of my cork-backed coasters. Oh, and it looks great too.

Elegant, absorbent without passing moisture to the table below. These are neutral enough in design to cross many design eras. They look great in mid-century modern rooms. The wood looks rich and the felt feels like the real deal. The bottoms have the felt positioned so the coaster slides without scraping the table. Actually works
Coaters are stupid and precious few work without irritation but I like these! The reviews had me a little worried but they are attractive enough and very practical. The wood frame gives the coaster a bit of weight and height, the wool backing keeps your table safe and the wool coaster surface absorbs condensation. No condensation on the table, no glass sticking to the coaster. It all works well. They're also big enough for a large mug.One star off for the awful charcoal grey color. There could be pretty dyed wools to make this a bit more interesting and I'd buy again if offered in a green or rose.
