Absorb condensation well
in desperate need of coasters for a home in a very humid state, I needed something that would absorb the condensation that is forever coming off of icy drinks in glass containers so it won't ruin my furniture. These stylish coasters were the perfect choice. The size is generous and easily accommodates a drinking glass with a 3 inch base. A drinking glass with a 3 1/4 inch base is the largest this coaster can actually accommodate so I would not recommend this coaster for a wide based coffee mug. The black felt liner is really the star of this coaster. While it is beautifully designed, it is very absorbent which is exactly what I was looking for. I don't worry about any condensation getting onto my wood furniture. The flat absorbs any liquid and the acacia wood groove, where the felt sits, holds the moisture between the acacia wood and your furniture. The felt design mixed with the smooth acacia wood base is at home in just about any decor - I have a country/boho theme and it works quite well in every room. I keep a coaster on each of the master BR nightstands and the stand and remaining coasters are in the dining room. Although the price may seem high for a set of coasters, the quality of these coasters is very high. Additionally, you do get a set of 6 and a stand so, overall, I would say the price is equal to the quality of the product.

So very classy
Love how pretty these are. They seem well made and will look great on the table. I ordered 2 sets. I can not comment yet on how well they handle condensation. They are sturdy and lay flat. The glassware I have fits nicely. The sides are not to high - so hopefully they will do their job without getting knocked about. I will update my review once we have used them, but from other reviews I am quite hopeful that they will do the job nicely.

Def worth the buy for what they are.
These did exactly what I needed and were pretty decent in quality. I wanted something to add to a gift bag for a friend moving into his first post divorce bachelor pad.
