I love this egg holder! It easily holds 36 eggs, which is perfect, especially if you keep a good supply on hand. The wood is nice quality and feels sturdy and well made. It looks great sitting on the counter and adds a warm, farmhouse-style touch to the kitchen. It keeps eggs organized and within easy reach while still being attractive enough to leave out. Overall, it’s both practical and decorative, and I’m very happy with it.
The solace life wooden egg holder was easy to put together. It holds a generous amount of eggs.ost others only hold 24, this one holds 36. The unit is solid wood and has some weight to it. It's not thin pieces of wood. It is a well made kitchen gadget. My young layers are starting to lay and with 32 new layers begining this will hold all their eggs if everyone were to lay an egg in one day. The color is beautiful and the holes hold the eggs securely with the pointy end up. If the pointy end is down they wobble about. This will take some getting use to because eggs are suppose to be stored pointy end down. But they won't be spending more then a day in this holder as they are collected and cartoned daily. Extra large and jumbo eggs as well as turkey eggs and duck eggs may not fit very well in this egg holder.
I am extremely pleased with the quality of this egg holder. Its solid wood which makes it sturdy and durable. There were no instructions, but it was super east to assemble. The top half of the stand just sits on the bottom half with the security of pegs, so it's not secured together. So just keep that in mind when you try to lift it from the top because it lifts off. I love the large number of eggs that this holds. I leave my eggs fresh unwashed on my counters and was them as we use them, so this is a much better option than leaving them in bowls on my counters. When I take eggs from my bowls sometimes it causes them to fall and crack each other. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has chickens and stores their eggs unwashed.
This is a perfect counter egg holder. The wood is a beautiful color and lots of room for eggs we will be receiving from our Chickens. I will say the pre-drilled holes lining up initially didn't seem to be lined up the best. that was the only issue with installation. It took about 10 minutes total to put together so not a huge deal. Ended up making it work. I would say it's great quality. I love the storage amount it offers and it looks great on our counter.
We already had an egg holder very similar to this one that was working fine, so I didn't understand why my wife wanted to get this one. She was right again, though!My favorite thing about this one is there is more vertical space on the bottom shelf so it's easier to reach the eggs on the bottom level. To make it even better, instead of just two rows there are three, so it holds a full three dozen instead of just two.Those two features alone makes this much better than our last egg holder, even with the following small issues...The head of one of the screws popped off. At first it made me worry about the quality of the rack, but it hasn't been an issue because there was an extra screw in the package. It also comes with an Allen wrench, which was appreciated since I didn't have to go find ours.One of the joints was a bit too tight as well, but with some persistent encouragement, without forcing, it's working great now.My wife thinks the rack is beautiful, and I like that the screws aren't silver-colored so they blend into the wood better.Thank you for reading, I hope it was helpful.
Easy to put together egg holder! I did have a little bit of trouble fitting one of the side in but just pushed in with a hammer and it finally went in. Excited to use this for all the eggs my chickens lay.
