This is a very well-built case, and it's very nice to look at. The only two things that I would change would be if the top had a hinge on it (it comes completely off), and if the knife slots were covered in some type of material. It does not lock - it's simply a display case. The size is good enough for quite a bit of knives. My son-in-law is a collector, whom this is for, and I might need to get him a second one. It functions as it should, although I wish that the slots were slightly larger. For the price, I think it's absolutely a great value. The wood is solid, as is the top. Overall, I'm very happy with it.
The display case holds 15 knives in an interesting way the top holds 7 and the drawer holds 8 but the holder slots are different sizes. The slots in the drawer are narrower and longer. The drawer is not great quality it has come apart on me a few times as it seems its a lose friction fir there nothing actually holding it together like nails or glue. The drawer does don slide easily in and out and is kind of a pain to get it to go back in almost every time I have to shove and wiggle it to get it to close. The look of this display is fantastic i absolutely love it, i just wish it was made better. With improvements it would be worth the money however its up for debate with the one i got for review.
This is a really nicely built display case and I appreciate that it arrives fully assembled and ready to use. The description mentions it can be used as either a “knife display stand” or a “pocket knife display box,” which is accurate. If you want the knives standing upright, the acrylic cover simply needs to be removed; or you can leave the cover on and use it as a traditional pocket-knife box with the knives closed. The solid wood base feels sturdy and the clear acrylic top is a substantial 1/4" thick, which is higher quality than I normally expect at this price point. After my husband loaded it up, I carried it around arms length out in front of me just to see if it felt secure and it did. Cheap boxes, no matter the cost when loaded up can feel like they'll fall apart when weighed down; this one did not. This bos has a 15-slot capacity with a practical two-tier layout: 7 slots in the top display section and 8 slots in the lower drawer. The drawer fits knives up to 5.5" x 5/8" x 1-5/8" and opens smoothly during normal use. In my photos, you’ll see that many of my husbands' knives are on the larger side and they fit beautifully in both the upper display area and the lower drawer. Nothing feels cramped or forced and the case showcases the pieces cleanly.I’ve included close-ups of the drawer construction, the acrylic joins, and the underside of the lower drawer, and everything is very well made for this price point. The wood is neatly finished, the joints line up cleanly and the acrylic sits flush and solid. The only small thing I noticed is that when I pulled the drawer fully out for photos, I gave it a little jiggle to pull all the way out - something you wouldn’t normally need to do in everyday use. Overall, the construction feels sturdier and more refined than expected and the 1/4" top cover is something I usually see on higher-priced cases. One care note: avoid anything containing alcohol when cleaning acrylic since it can fog or turn tacky. A microfiber cloth with the tiniest bit of mild dish soap works best, and paper towels should be avoided to prevent micro-scratches.This is a solid display case with clean construction, a thoughtful layout, and a polished look. I think it’s a very good value for the quality and design and I’m genuinely happy with it. Highly recommend this highly functional piece you'll be able to place anywhere in your home. Thanks so much for reading my review :)
Disclosure: I received this Knife Display Case with drawer for free as part of the Amazon Vine program. This case is made from some kind of composite material with a very thin layer of wood veneer. It looks great - like a jewelry box for your knives, but can only be used for folding style knives as long as they are not too large. It is labeled as a display case and, as such, it works great. The thick lid showcases your knives perfectly without distortion. The drawer slides in and out easily and has also room for more knives. The lid does not seal completely tight. Taking it on and off bangs it directly onto the wood. I wish they would have added a silicone seal to the bottom. The slots for the knives are not removeable. Larger knives will have to sit on top of the slots or be displayed somewhere else.Overall I think this is great for display only. Unfortunately for that alone I find this way to expensive.
This knife display case looks fantastic on a shelf. The solid wood base feels sturdy and well‑crafted, and the thick acrylic cover gives a clear view of the knives without feeling flimsy. I arranged several folding knives inside, and the two‑tier layout makes it easy to display everything without overcrowding. The drawer underneath is perfect for storing extra clips, sharpening tools, or smaller EDC items. It has a clean, modern look that fits well in an office or hobby room. If you enjoy collecting knives, this case elevates the whole display and keeps everything dust‑free and organized.
It came cracked in two areas, very disappointing. It was a Christmas gift.
