Complements existing bamboo aesthetics well
Very pretty paper towel holder as it matches with the other bamboo furniture items I have. Installation took all of 30 seconds to screw together the parts, so it was super fast. It's heavy on the bottom to help hold it in place, and paper towel tears easily for me. I don't use the star top though because that makes paper towel replacement a bit annoying, and it still works all the same. I do like it a lot and would highly recommend it.

Simple and effective
This is a simple bamboo paper towel dispenser. There were no assembly instructions provided (or needed) - but it did take some maneuvering. I held the base disc between my knees and the stick with my left hand as I tightened the screw with my right. Surprisingly, it was a little difficult as it was unwieldy. I had to return it the first time as the smaller stick wouldn't get screwed in firmly. I think the screw assembly should have been better built - I've used similar wood/bamboo products with simple assembly as those had grooves (sometimes metal) pre-built and that made them tougher and easier to assemble. Now I have it assembled firmly but I'm not sure how much the smaller stick will withstand being pushed against when the paper is torn. Still giving it the benefit of the doubt with 3.5 to 4 stars.

i saw this paper towel holder and it was so cute, I had to have it! There is initially a bit of installation needed, as it comes with little rubber stoppers for the bottom to keep it from skidding off your counter, and you have to screw in the wooden dowel for the paper towels and the little stem with star on top to keep them in place. It's a very thin wood but it's heavy enough it won't tip over easily which is nice, and the non-skid buttons on the bottom do keep it in place so it doesn't wander away if you're using it. Beautiful, simple design which will get you a lot of compliments and is very utilitarian. It holds a lot of paper towels as the dowel is thin but makes it easy to rip off a piece using the star as a stopper of sorts. Beautiful and sturdy, easy to clean, easy to store, and a beautiful addition to my countertop.

This is a pretty simple and straightforward paper towel holder, and if you don't like the little star on top (which I actually don't), you can just remove it. Very easy to assemble and seems solid.
