Useless random size holes throughout the plate supports two big and too small

I ordered two of these, the wooden dolls are bigger than the holes and when you try to put it together, they don’t fit if you try to force it it splits it so I’ve kept the one I split not happy at all. I’m returning the second one do not buy, cannot put together.

Nice bamboo rotating spice rack. Came boxed in a sealed inner package. Tools needed - rubber mallet. Would have given this 4-5 stars but when assembled noticed that one peg/post hole was separating but still stable. The side is now rough to the touch but a little filing should smooth it out. My worry is that the hole will break out over time. Post pegs do not fit into holes easily they should be slightly beveled to fit into the holes.Sturdy, good storage capacity looks nice, spins OK and is generally smooth all over except for the side with the cracked out hole. Trying to contact vendor to remedy this issue with the cracked hole. Will revise my review when I hear back from this vendor.
