Pretty wood bowl especially good for Caesar
It’s been years and years since I’ve had a wooden salad bowl. I think they are terrific for a green salad or especially for a Caesar salad. They most certainly are a bit high maintenance and require care, as does any wooden serving piece. It is important to never leave it with food in it for long or to leave it full of water in the sink. Both can damage the bowl to the point where you have to pitch it. Overall, I am pretty pleased with this acacia wood bowl. The size is just right for a 4 to 6 person salad. I like the grains of the wood, and the bowl seems to be put together well with the seams being water tight. That being said, if it soaks in water at the seams will split open- so again- avoid that. I also appreciate that it came with a salad fork and spoon in the same wood. I think it’s awkward to have metal tongs when you’re serving out of a nice wood bowl just for the aesthetics of it. We entertain a lot, and I’m looking forward to putting this to good use.

What a beautiful Acacia wooden bowl and serving utensil set! I haven't had a chance to use it yet, but it will be lovely for our Christmas feast. It would be great for a family.Each bowl will be unique due to the nature of the wood grain, but I love all the variations in grain and color. Everything is nice and smooth without any bumps or rough spots. This will need to be handwashed and dried promptly to keep it looking beautiful. You can prep your salad early and store it in the fridge, but don't put it in the oven or freezer at all.This is my first wooden salad bowl, and I'm impressed by the nice weight to it. The wood is about 1/3 of an inch thick, so the bowl is sturdy and won't break easily. The utensils are sturdy as well. It stands just over 4 inches tall and each of the serving pieces are 10 inches in length. It will hold enough salad for 6-8 people, which is my guess.It feels like a high-end salad bowl and I totally recommend it!

Gorgeous Bowl, Might Be High-Maintenance, Totally Worth It
This set is genuinely gorgeous. It looks good enough to leave out as a centerpiece, which is exactly what I did for the first hour before I remembered it was supposed to be used for food. We’ve already used it for salad, and I’m about to see how it handles sourdough next.It feels well made, but the seams did give me pause. I’m not entirely sure how this will hold up long-term with anything liquid-heavy. Some wooden bowls are seamless and feel a little more “set it and forget it,” but this one is definitely going to need some regular oiling to keep it happy.That said, I fully plan to use the absolute heck out of this bowl until it eventually decides it’s had enough.
