It grinds things awfully fine.

That said, there is supposed to be a way to adjust the fineness of the grind, I just haven't bothered with it - yet. Otherwise, no issue. Definitely a mid-century vibe to them, but I'm thinking of painting mine. They work very well, no issues at all there, and they hold a fair amount of salt and/or pepper. I think I would have actually preferred something smaller but that's on me. They are big. They'd be great for restaurant tables but are a bit big for kitchen counter use.

Seems like a good pair of grinders

I did not expect them to be so nice like they are. Work well. I prefer metal burrs, but the ceramic burrs are holding up. Of course I've only been using them a couple weeks despite buying them some time ago.

Simple and excellent

This 2 are awesome, simple elegant and they work like they should. They grind stuff to a really fine powder, easy to fill and adjust. When you refill that grinder you have to readjust the grind, top knob works as a locking nut and adjustment knob. Wood and acrylic makes a nice combo, one grinder is made out of a darker wood, ceramic grinding burrs. We had electric grinders and I just trashed them, those manual once work way better.
